I was tickled to get you that cabin Betsy! (well--mom the cabin, but Bets in it)

TZM--hope you enjoy your FL res rate too. I took care of yours and Betsy's at the same time, then had to call Betsy about the cabin for her mom.
I was so thrilled to get you guys those rates because when they released them nothing was coming up available on our cruise. I've been checking for almost a week now, and today was the magical day!

Now I'm off to bed. Sick again I am...YUCK! no more meds, no more sickies, germs go away. If they take any more blood from me I'm going to have nothing left in my veins.

OMG. I just heard that George Carlin died! I have to write to my old best friend from HS... Back in HS (cough cough in the 70's) we used to do (smoke...cough cough ) things that we shouldn't have done (cough cough it WAS the 70's ya know) and then we would lay on our backs and listen to his albums (who remembers vinyl?) and we would laugh and laugh and laugh until no sound was coming out. How sad.

um, I was in Jacksonville on Friday and Sunday...what "adverse" weather??? It was pretty nice until we got to S Carolina..and even then, it cleared up before the wedding

...and then there's laundry, dogs to vet, post office, grocery store, getting appointments for Bob (school stuff), picking up bridesmaid dress etc etc.

So other than shopping for college & cruise, what do you do with 2 teenagers all summer?

I promised the Crouton Peeps a camping trip, (Beano style!) before Bob goes off to college. I had hoped we could do it before the cruise vacation, but that has proven to be all but impossible. So, it looks like maybe the week of Aug. 11th... if that doesn't get shot in the *ss too! That's 1 week before DD starts school and less than 2 weeks before DS does. So instead of a pre-cruise camping trip, I'm hoping it can be a nice, relaxing family 'last hurrah' camping vacation before our new reality sets in.



When I do the math, it looks as if between July 14th and August 24th, I'll be on vacation and/or traveling for close to 3 1/2 - 4 weeks. No time left for that 'job' thing they keep wanting me to show up for...

Oh well !! Carpe Diem!

For those that don't understand latin, 'Carpe Diem' means "Life is short, let's cruise!!"

Carpe diem.... the Marines cruise? Well, I guess they cruise with the Navy.

Beano- that work thing just gets in the way of everything. You will have a wonderful time camping though. Pismo beach again? Mountains? And is Beano-style camping like Chris-style camping (or what it used to be)? Champagne and London Broil. None of this hot dog and baked bean thing.

Totally better in person than on commercials. We should find out if Selma has one so you can check it out. Our dealer got one SE & one SEL, no Limited though so we'll have to go back to check out the top of the line. Tim drove it.
