And yes, there will be either London Broil or Filet Mignon on the grill, but I also enjoy the burgers and hot dogs thang from time to time. I was also referring to having a TV, DVD player, refrigerator, queen size bed, hot showers, etc. for RJ.

I myself prefer standing around camp, taking in the scent of pine trees, listening to country music on the Bose iPod system, and, dare I say... drinkin' a beer! Then going fishing in a beautiful mountain stream, hoping to God I don't catch anything so I won't have to clean it or wash my hands!

But, alas, rainbow trout quiver once my shadow is cast over the water.




Betsy, I guess you know then, that "Carpe Cat. 1" means "Seize the Walt Suite!"

HEY HEY NOW!! Don't knock my weiners & burger thing! My slaw dogs with homemade chili are quite tasty and my guacamole & salsa burgers with pepper jack cheese last weekend made my boys quite happy! (Now of course if somebody was to buy me a steak to cook I wouldn't turn it down...)

burgers and dogs are normal camp food. I was just exposing how Chris and his friends used to camp. They called it Champagne Camping.

How do you eat a guac, salsa, jack cheese burger anyway? Knife and fork?

They really weren't too messy...we smear the guac. on top of the burger then top that with this fresh tomato & jalapeno pepper salsa stuff. They actually hold together better than a reg. burger that's loaded up with mayo, ketchup, mustard, onion & tomato on it!! (Sometimes we do the same thing except with grilled chix and put it on a big kaiser roll. )
