Wow, your thread always amazes me, blink and it grows eight pages! I'm glad Mike is getting along well in his new position and that Autism Speaks went so wonderfully. The girls are getting big and so are Anthony and Addy. Marie looks very nice and I love the picture of her holding Addy's hand. I hope your shoulder is doing better.

Mike's job is going well....the commute in the heat & no air conditioning is getting tiring already.....lol

The walk did go well & it was fun to be with other families & not one of them looking at as strangely!!! Marie is very sweet & very loving......the kids love her, as do we!!

Vicki is making very slow progress but anything forward is good......gonna be a very long road for her....so continued prayers are appreciated!!

Kaoden my fingers do that some times, the freezing up. I told my daughter about it and of course she looked at me like ok rrrighttt mom. Thank goodness it happened when she was here. Do you know why it does that? I have had it do it out of blue, when i am using hands alot, when tired , when not tired, I just have no idea. Only lasts for what seems like forever but it is only seconds. I have been known to get one then get another one right away. Like you said it hurts-- like your hand is going to break.

I cried when I read about Vickie. Only knew her from the boards. Having a stroke should never happen to someone so young. I think I remember you saying that the twins could have strokes but I am not sure. I don't think there is really anyway to project if one is going to happen or when except for high blood pressure.

The twins are at risk for strokes....at least not that I'm aware of!! The bio father has seizures....Michayla has had a couple "episodes" that were thought to be small seizure like activity but after a number of tests....there wasn't anything showing to point that she should be having them. So who knows??

You know I have no clue why it happens. It is horrible pain and it first started only when I was cooking, then it branched out. I was told that it might stop if I got carpel tunnel surgery. It wasn't true.

So I messed up........I did laundry & screwed up my shoulder again. It was feeling pretty good when I woke up & didn't even think about it. Then about 2 hrs ago I started getting those stabbing pains again.....crap crap crap!!!!!

Not really.....Advil, stop using it & I got some icy/hot patches that I can wear on the area that seems to help. Since I stopped using it & am keeping it tucked to my side....the stabbing has subsided but it definitely hurts again.

Laurie I am so sorry that your shoulder is still bothering you. Probably ideally it would be best if you didn't use it but of course in your situation that is probably practically impossible I know. But you may have a pulled or torn muscle or something and whenever you use it you are aggravating that. Gosh I feel awful for you! I hope you are able to get some rest so it can heal!!

I too agree that what is going on with Vicki is so sad! I never met her either since I didn't go on last year's trip but she seemed like a nice gal and it is always so shocking when that happens to someone so young! I get really bad migraines and I too worry about strokes. I take a lot of different meds for my headaches and things that thin my blood and then I take some hormones that cause blood clots so all of those things could contribute to strokes and of course my stress level doesn't help lol. I just hope that she makes a full recovery!!

So I know most of you are on FB and you heard my dilema with stupid comcast so I am prob just going to go back to stupid AT&T. I still have my modem from before so I won't have to buy a new one and they are actually cheaper than anyone else. I just hope I don't have a problem with going over my time cuz I do watch netflix quite a bit. So I guess I will have to see how it goes!

Anyway so I am off to work today and then when I get home I will try to get that setup and then hopefully Shane will get the last of his stuff and then I am going to get the locks changed. He was under the impression that he could still just come and go over here whenever he wanted and I was like uh I don't think so! This is NOT your house anymore. You didn't bother to give me ANY money towards the rent for this month and you just left me hanging. I don't have a key to HIS new place and I know he doesn't want me just showing up whenever so I don't want HIM just showing up!

Anyway I am still pretty nervous about how everything is going to go since he is STILL off work and even once he DOES get back to work I know he has over encumbered himself but I guess we will just have to wait and see. I just wish I could get a stupid job and not have to worry about it! I mean he has a responsibility to the girls plain and simple but bottom line I don't want them to suffer and I want to be able to support them even if he doesn't! So I just hope that something comes through soon and I don't HAVE to rely on him. Doesn't mean I will give up and let him get away with it. I will still go after him to support his kids but I don't want to HAVE to rely on him if that makes sense.

Anywho I hope you guys have a great day and again Laurie I sure hope you start feeling better!!

Thanx Kelly.....a little better this morning......will try to keep it rested as much as possible today. Mike was supposed to be off today, but his 2nd called first thing this morning to tell him, she was sick......so he's taken off to work until 3:30. So my arm won't get much rest, but I'll try my best!!

Changing the locks is a good idea Kelly. One it keeps him from sneaking over & "borrowing" things & Two it gives you a line in the sand!! Hoping things just continue to move forward & upwards for you & the girls.

You might need to accept something else job-wise (if you get a call back) until the TSA things gets thru their entire process. As I mentioned earlier.....government jobs are not a quick hiring process.....this could still take up to a month or longer. I wouldn't hold out for this......but I would accept it if it gets offered down the road!!!

So I just realized that if we were still going in October, we'd be 32 days away......heavy sigh!! Now my countdown says...... 177 days.....even heavier sigh!!!!!!
