DIS Digi-Scrapping Challenge #68

Great layouts everyone. I have mine just about finished. I just can't think of a title for it. Maybe DH can come up with something when he gets home from work so I can finish and post mine, too.

Thanks for the template and fun challenge Jan. Here's my layout.

Each week the challenge host starts a new thread. The rules for that challenge are in the first post of the thread. The one standing rule for all these challenges, though, is that your layout must in some way be Disney related. And you (usually) have until midnight on Tuesday to post your layout - again, see the first post of the thread to be sure.

For this week here are the rules. (I've editted the first post, highlighting in red what you need to do.)
It's time for your next assignment: Another template challenge! (I can hear the roars of excitement all the way over here.)

Here's what I want you to do with it. You are to scrap a Disney experience. For example, if you scrap about a ride, it has to be something you experienced about the ride, not just how pretty or wonderful it was...

That's it! I can't wait to see what you come up with.

Here's the link to the template: http://www.box.net/shared/5hqdtz02pi. (ETA: The .png files have been fixed!) Let me know if you have any problems downloading it. Note: this download contains a .page file for all you SBC+ users! So all you need to do is import the page and you're ready to go!

And I will pick two winners using random.org. These lucky people will each recieve Happy Scrap Girl's new kit - Sense of Adventure! Thanks again, Happy! ...

Now for the technical stuff. First and most importantly, the layout must be Disney related in some way. Parks, cruise, Disney on Ice, going to see a Disney movie, just as long as it's about Disney. Second, in order to be considered for one of the two prizes, please make sure that your layouts are posted here on this thread before 12:00 midnight on Tuesday, August 4
Have fun, and welcome to the challenges. :)

thanks for the great challenge,

When we went to Disneyland Paris we didn't have much time. We needed to eat in a hurry and were feeling hungry about the time we entered Fantasyland. Pinocchio's restaurant was right where we entered so we decided to try it. The decorations were so cute! I almost didn't want to eat my Mickey shaped hamburger!

I just returned from my Creative Memories Regional Showcase, so I'm a bit tired. I love what ya'll have done so far, and I'll be sure to leave you love tomorrow!!!

But if you're a SBC+ person, make sure to check out the SBC+ thread and catch up on the latest about the SBC+ 3.0 upgrade! IT'S SO EXCITING!!!!!

It was fun to see what ya'll are doing with this template.

tink and hook - I l-o-v-e Push! How exciting that your DD got a private audience with him! I love the little robot - and the alpha and hang tag are so cute. You did a super job telling the story!

fonnetta - I, too, love your title! I hate that ride. You never know which way's up. I like the way you framed the one photo and hung it, being separated from the rest with the paper. And I just saw your mickey! Too cute!

CAVEA001 - what a beautiful view you had. I love the pic with the feet!!! And the swirly doodle to point out your room is a fun thing. (I just usually put on a plain, boring arrow!!) I love the colors of the kit, too.

Susan - that's too funny that you an fonetta used the same kit! Great minds DO think alike! I LOVE your added photos in the right corner - Way to go! Your element clusters are great, and I love the stitching and ribbon border around the red paper.

Fran - I love the burst paper you used for the background. It really makes the whole thing pop! And what a mix of kits - I love the effect. The colors are fantastic! I love it.

Robin - what cute photos! I love pics of sleeping little ones crashed out after a full day at Disney. I love the shaped paper and the hanging element on the left. The colorway you used is great, too. It's so sweet!

mumloveseeyore - Isn't goofy the best? I love the way you chose papers to go along with the theme of the character spot. Your swirly rope is so cute, and I love all those photos with goofy. This is so cute.

GinnyO - I love that glitter background. It's perfect with belle - well, all the colors are! The pink is so soft, and I love the flower scatters and swirls. It's so beautiful!!!

mla973 - what a perfect kit to use with this restaurant! I love those opaque borders, and the acrylic element behind your title just makes it stand out so well. Your story is funny! I bet that chip & dale didn't leave you alone, they're so silly.

BriarRose - I love the photos! I take it that's at the Paris Disneyland? I love the fact you put the photo of the food in there, too. And I like how you twisted the papers and added more photos. More photos are always good!!!

Oops - I'm at my son's Tae Kwon Do lesson, and it's about over. I'll leave love for PhotoBee and VacationKicks later on tonight - I promise!

Here's one of our Disney experiences. If you haven't tried a Segway tour, you MUST give it a try! Thanks, Jan, for a great template and challenge!

Thanks for the great challenge and template!

Journaling: SMILE! Janet had a "photo shoot" at Exposition Hall after our breakfast. The photopass photog took lots of pics...all of which are Mommy's favorites! Daddy laughed at me because I started to cry as he was taking your pics - you make me so emotional - I'm so glad I'm your Mom!

Here is mine:

I altered the template a bit. :) If you click on it, you can read the full journaling. We got to sit in the front row, which was a really neat experience.

Thanks for the great challenge Jan! :thumbsup2

Dawn - Your journaling gave me the chills! It is just beautiful. I love all of the blues and clusters. Now I wanna go back!

VacationKicks - You really caught the flavor of Goofy's! I love the white squiggle paper. It's so fun. And the orange photo mats and background paper really tie the whole thing together nicely. Oh, for a Mickey rice krispie cookie right now!

Mom2JPL - I have such a soft spot for BBB photos. I don't know how many times I've scrapped my daughter's photos. And Kim's kit is just so fun, isn't it? (I just love those flowers!) You did a fantastic job.

Yzerbear19 - The GMR was my daughter's favorite ride at Disney Studios. I love your sparkly background, but the most fantastic part is the way you put the movies onto the tickets! Now, how clever is that?????

breeoxd - I simply adore your hidden mickey with the chef's hat!!! And this page is spectacular! And I love how you hung the pots and pans from the bottom of the photo. So clever! Every time I look at it I see more. Wow!

Okay, I'll go run all of your names through random.org and will be back soon with our two winners!
