For those attending Option 1 of the AK Meet:

Would everyone be interested in meeting at a different location so we can see the lighting ceremony for Pandora? The lighting ceremony looks like it will be scheduled at 8 p.m. We can make our way over to Rivers of Light after if everyone is interested in this. We would probably change the meet-up time/location to 7:45 p.m. outside of Nomad Lounge. Let me know if anyone is interested in this, and I'll make a decision at a later date depending on the response to this. If I don't get enough responses for changing it, I'll just keep the meet-up location/time the same. I'm really looking forward to meeting everyone on May 31st!

And yes, we would definitely be down for the lighting ceremony.
Want to make the meeting spot near FoLK and go in the back way? If that is a good way in? I am not sure where the ceremony will be in comparison to the back entrance. It may be best to work the way in from the main entrance near Nomads

I think we might be interested in joining up for this night, party of 2. We would probably need to grab some dinner beforehand if anyone is interested.

It reads like the drum circle area will be part of the ceremony - I think that is not near the back entrance, but I am not sure ... perhaps someone else can confirm that

Same here, we have plans to see RoL on either Tuesday or Friday night. EE Single rider sounds like a great idea to me!

Hi Angi. I have changed you to Option 1 on my list to reflect what you said. I don't know if meeting by FOTLK is going to be the best option. That's why I was still thinking Nomad or just meet at the drum circle (wherever that is). I'm hesitant on still meeting at the drum circle since Pandora might be super crowded, and it might be difficult to find each other.

Hi Roxy. That would be great! Are you just wanting to participate in Pandora EMH? If so, I will just put you down for Option 2. Option 1 is option 2, but it starts with Rivers of Light FP. In that case, option 2 along with the Lion King show. That day I'll keep an eye out for RoL FP but I won't worry too much if we can't get one. It might be a good time for us to grab a snack and drink since I'll have my son with me.

Actually even though the Buckeyes are always my number one team, Alabama is a close second. I am a huge fan of Bear Bryant and admire good coaching so as long as they aren't playing the Bucks, Roll Tide!

Roll Tide! You'll appreciate this then...my 2 year old nephew (his middle name is Bryant by the way), has a big Bear Bryant poster in his room that also hung in my brother's room growing up. He talks to "Beaw Byant" all the time. Right now he's fascinated with the birthday song and recently completely randomly decided it was the Bear's birthday and started singing Happy Birthday to him. My sis-in-law managed to get it on video. So cute!!!

The drum area is near the front entrance. (And I had no idea there is a back entrance...where??) During my preview it seemed to be one way in and out.

I have to rescind saying I'll be at the AK meet-up. It didn't click in my head that you guys weren't meeting until 10. I'm hoping to be almost done (or done) by then and heading to my hotel (I don't have EMH anyway).

Yeah, the official "un"official meet is first at 8 for the lighting ceremony and then going to RoL and then phase II is for after that, which will be like 10

A number of us will be in the park for most of the day though so I am sure other arrangements could be made at other times - or we will just run into each other

The drum circle is near the tiffins entrance and it's the last thing on the right. forward and left is the river ride, turn right going around it and your under the mountain where flight entrance is.

The public space is roughly what the hollywood studios "hub" is. you enter from tiffins area down a walkway that is roughly where the boat quick service is located. The tree and flight is where the hat used to be, river is where the entrance tot he walkway to ABC is located and the food and gift shop is at the arch. The drums is the end of the tables at the edge roughly on the boat side..
