Welcome! Step right in, but please continue moving down the rows to make room for everyone so we can begin our show!

Hello all! Thank you for stopping by my PTR, so glad you could join me! Who am I? I suppose we should start with some introductions!

I’m known as Thing1 on the DIS. I’m 18 years old and a senior in high school. When I’m not planning Disney trips, I’m captain of the speech team, a crew head for our theatre department and take/teach dance lessons. My favorite attraction at Walt Disney World is Splash Mountain.

Thing2 is 14 years old and a freshman. She is heavily involved in theatre, speech team, choir and piano lessons. Her favorite Disney attraction is Splash Mountain or Peter Pan’s Flight.

Thing3 is 9 (10 in just a few days, she’ll have you know) and in fourth grade. She is a competitive dancer and full-time diva. Her favorite thing at Disney is Figment; she can’t get enough!

We can’t forget the people who make this all possible, the parents. My mom is a teacher and my dad is an accountant. Mom’s favorite attraction is Peter Pan’s Flight and Dad’s is Splash Mountain.

Now that we’ve got the who taken care of, here are the rest of the details:

When: June 18-July 3.

You may have gathered from the title that this won’t be solely a Disney trip. I graduate in the spring and wanted to go to Disney this summer, but our parents wanted us to see something new, as we were at Disney this past year. They surprised us yesterday by announcing we will be road-tripping, first to Orlando, then onto Destin and New Orleans before heading home.

I hope you’ll join me through the planning of this epic road trip! Thank you for reading!

Now that finals are almost over, I have time for some more planning! :cool1:

We will be staying at the Beach Club from June 20th until the 26th. I'm so excited for the Beach Club; we wanted to stay there last year but ended up at the Boardwalk (which we absolutely adored).

We can start making dining reservations on Saturday so that will be fun. Our list right now is Coral Reef, Be Our Guest, Via Napoli, Cape May Cafe and 50's Primetime at Thing3's request. We still need one more meal, I'd love to hear what your favorite Epcot area restaurant is. Any and all suggestions are welcome!

I'm off to study more but thank you for reading! :)

Sounds like fun! Ready to join in the planning! Happy early birthday to Thing3! :goodvibes

Thank you for joining us! Thing3 says thank you as well. It has been a busy weekend of celebrating her birthday and finishing up Christmas shopping!

Hello again! I hope you all had wonderful holidays spent with family and friends!

Though the holidays were busy with family and friends always over, we did manage to do some trip planning! We booked hotels for Destin and New Orleans and it's very nice to have that taken care of! Perhaps the most exciting part for me was making our ADRs!

As it stands, our line up looks like this:

6/20: Via Napoli (dinner)
We had dinner at Via Napoli our first night on our most recent trip and all enjoyed it. It's close to the Beach Club so after dinner some may go back to the resort to swim or go to bed and others may stay in Epcot or monorail to the Magic Kingdom for EMH that night.

6/21: Cape May Café (dinner)
We are going to MK on this day. We figure with the heat and being tired from the car trip, we may want an afternoon nap/pool break. Dinner is on the earlier end so we can head back out to a park afterwards.

6/22: 50s Primetime (dinner)
I'm still debating changing this one...Thing3 saw it on a TV special and is dying to go and nothing else really jumps out at us at Hollywood Studios. Since this is our only full day there I may just leave it because we won't want to waste time leaving and coming back.

6/23: Coral Reef (dinner)
Love the convenience of eating at Epcot with the proximity of the Beach Club. We've never been to Coral Reef before and decided to give it a shot.

6/24: La Hacienda de San Angel (dinner)
Very excited about this reservation. We've never eaten here before but the menu looks great and our reservation is for 8:30 so hopefully we will have a view of Illuminations.

6/25: Chef Mickey's (dinner)
We've done breakfast here before and liked it. It isn't one of our top choices but again, a request by Thing3 that we've granted (for now, at least).

The only reservation we tried for and couldn't get was the elusive BOG ADR. I'll keep trying and hope something opens up but I'm happy with what we have right now.

If you have any suggestions for changes or tips, please feel free to jump in! Thank you for reading! :)
