Dinosaur ride at AK

I've read it's scary...what about it is scary, never been, so trying to get an idea of if we'd even want to attempt it with DD (6) or not?

As people stated it's loud, jerky, dark, and plastic dinosaurs jump out. However, I took my nephew who is scared of everything, even Pirates of the Caribbean, on it and he did fine. Every child is different and you know your DD the best.
