Okay so a group of us have decided to do a Fireworks cruise which happens to be on the night we are suppose to eat at Ohana's. Ohana's is a must do for us because DH loves it and it was one of the things I promised him on this trip.

I have a PS for Jiko on another night. Now looking at the menu DH and I will be sure to find something we like however I also don't think we will be completely disappointed if we miss it. Plus we are already eating at Boma one night . The real reason I wanted to eat at Jiko was because I wanted to try some of the African Wines. Can you try them anywhere else? Am I crazy to pass up Jiko?

I have had some South African wines at Victoria Falls, the lounge in AKL. I believe you can also order them at Boma, although I'm not sure if the wine list is as extensive as Jiko.

Jiko is a wonderful meal and I would choose that over Boma, if it were me. But that is mainly because of the more formal dinner over the buffet style.

If your DH's heart is set on O'hana, I would go there and try some wines when you go to Boma. If you don't want another all you can eat on top of O'hanas, then choose Jiko over Boma.

I say do Boma, which has gotten so many raves, but get to the Animal Kingdom Lodge a little early and sample a regional wine or to at Victoria Falls, which is an absolutely lovely little bar!

Definitly Skip Jiko and have some wine at Victoria Falls. You will love it there, and Boma is better than Jiko in my opinion!
Have Fun!
