Hello all! We are anxiously awaiting our next trip to Florida! We will be spending a few days in the Fort Myers area and then driving up to WDW for 7 days. (4/30 - 5/11) We are not staying on Disney property but would like to have a little Disney Magic the night we arrive by having dinner at one of the resorts or DTD. A few thoughts I had but open to suggestions:

- House of Blues
- Hard Rock
- Rainforest Cafe (been to the one in AK)
- Chef Mickeys (we have done this one before during fireworks and it was awesome!)
- Polynesian

Our kids are 8 (twin boy&girl) and 4. They are seasoned Disney tourists and used to eating out. I don't know what choose or if I can get seating at this late date. Any suggestions or advice is always appreciated! Thanks!

My son and I like to Have dinner at Ohana on our first night. It is our fav family restaurant at disney and makes us have a wonderful start to our vacation. Good luck:thumbsup2

Well, if you are looking for a little "Magic" I would nix the first three. I think a resort restaurant would be a good idea. In addition to the one's you mentioned you could do Whispering Canyon at the Wilderness Lodge or (I don't know if your 4 year old is a boy or girl) 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian (Cinderella and her crew). Another thought for something casual would be Beaches & Cream at the Beach Club resort.:)
