Dinner menu at lunch time

Has anyone ever order from the dinner menu at lunch time ? I prefer to eat a bigger meal at lunch time and counter service later in the evening.

We ate at Mama Melrose's last year, and my sister ordered penne ala vodka from the dinner menu. We were there in the late afternoon, though, about a half hour or so before the dinner changeover. She requested it because we had eaten there for dinner on our previous trip, and she loved it. It doesn't hurt to ask...I think most restaurants would allow it, particularly if you have a later ADR.

We have found that most of the TS restaurants offer large portions at lunchtime, too!
