So, to recap, I don't need the Mac n' Cheese or the dessert and I tip well.

Is it really all that bad to request a taste of everything with a small glass of Cabernet to wash it all down

Look - I got people not wanting the green beans with the mac 'n cheese; I got people wanting the Chef salad with no ham or egg; I got people wanting Chef salad but no eggs or tomatoes - or spaghetti but no meatballs or no butter on the garlic bread just plain.. I got people wanting their spinach cooked "just so" - I got people wanting to bring booze into the joint..

This here is a one-woman operation.. If ya wanna be so picky, go to some high falutin' joint - ya here? Now are you eating or not??

FINE!!!!! I'll have an order of the Liver and onions - with mashed potatoes and peas... I'll also have a side of Ham, no cherries or pineapple please, as well as a side of Ranch, thank you...

Also, do you have a liqueur license? You're menu didn't specify. If so, I'll have a glass of the house Cabernet.

Hope that helps reduce your cooking a bit. (All the above would also be homemade as they are all specialties of mine)

It all sounds good (except for the liver) Can't we just have a buffet with everything on it?

The only reason dinner is late is because I'm late. And if I'm late, there SURE isn't going to be some cooking going on!
