Hey Everyone!

We are hoping to be able to attend one of the MNSSHP>

This is what I understand about the event, please correct me if Im wrong!!

We don't need a Park hopper pass to gain admission for this hard ticket event. So I can drop back my 7 day park hopper to a 6 day ...

We are able to enter MK at 4 pm for the party.

If thats correct, what time am I able to make ADR for an early dinner?

Will I be able to go at 3:30?? or does the ADR have to be after 4pm

TY for any advice!!!!!!!

1. You don't even need a base ticket--an MNSSHP ticket is all you need for entry to MK after 4:00p.

2. Yes.

3. After 4:00p. Additionally, I recommend making it for no later than 5:00p to avoid it conflicting with MNSSHP plans.

4. You cannot enter the park before 4:00p, sometimes 3:45p-ish if they open early, so ADRs before 4:00p-4:15p is not a good idea.

yup, what mesa said. You can't enter the gates before 4, so you will miss a 3:30 ADR. Depending on where you are in the morning it is usually best to have a very late lunch (3:30-4) at the other park or resort and then hop over to MK. MK food choices are limited and fill up fast on party nights.

Ty so much. Maybe I will just do a 3p at Ohana, then head to MK.....

I appreciate your advice!

I've never seen 'Ohana open at 3:00. It's usual opening time is 5:00 or 5:30. I would not recommend 'Ohana if you want to be in the park before the party starts at 7:00. If it opens at 5:00 you'll probably be okay, but if it doesn't open until 5:30 you will be cutting it very close. Most likely dinner will take about an hour, then you have to allow travel time back to the MK, go through bag check and the tapstiles, and getting your wristband and trick or treat bag.

Since you can get into the MK with just your party ticket at 4:00 you can make a dining reservation around 4:20 - 4:30 to allow time to get through the tapstile and get your wristband and treat bag.

Ohana can be risky as the wait there can go way past your ADR. We had them there once for MNSSHP as did many others. We arrived way before our ADR and there was at least a 20+ minute line just to check in. It was before the no show penalty, we walked to Kona and they sat us right away. Lots of families followed us that didn't want to miss party time.

We've done every combination, ADR in MK before, ADR at resort before, ADR for a late lunch then back to room to get ready for party, counter service in and out of the park. The last thing I want to do is miss ANY of the party because there is so much to do. If I couldn't get an in park ADR before 5 pm then I wouldn't try for table service for dinner. Recent years we have stuck with a bigger lunch as late as possible then get the special snacks during the party.
