Ours was a last minute trip so I took what we could get for dh, myself and the two teen ds 17 and l6.
Prime Time Cafe - Our lst time here. I had a late lunch but by the time we checked in they gave us the dinner menu. Not that I was upset about the price increase, it was I looked at both menus at allears and knew the ds would like the lunch menu better. We were seated right up against a wall. I looked at the wall. Our server was Aunt Betty. We shared the fried cheese appetizer. It was interesting. DH had the pot roast and ate every last bit of it. I had the fried chicken and asked for corn. DS 17 had the fried chicken with the greens. He did not care for the greens. DS 16 hated everything as usual on the menu and asked for a kids hot dog. I also ended up giving him my fried chicken leg too. Aunt Betty seemed to be in another section around the corner and never came back to ask if we wanted drinkk refills etc. I think she heard me say, if you see Aunt Betty tell her I need a drink. I couldnt eat the rest of my meal and it got cold but I finished it after I finallly got the drink. For dessert one ds and I shared the apple cobbler and thought it was terrible and a small portion for the price. DH had the angel food cake. One ds said he loved his chocolate shake. The table next to us also had bad service from another server. They actually asked us if we were done with the ketchup because they needed some too. Lets just say Aunt Bettys tip reflected her service and we probably wont be back here. A huge disapointment.
Garden Grill - We had a late lunch for the candelight processional package. I would have to look up the receipt but our server was the best, an older man from Orlando. We had 2 helpings of food, the ds always like this place. The characters were great as usual. Pluto knocked over ds glass and I am sure glad there was only ice in it at the time. He tried to apologize. The dessert was o.k. Better than the bread pudding they used to have.
Crystal Palace - We had a later lunch here too. Our servers were changing shifts so we had Josh. He was great. Also at the end some of the food was the dinner offerings, ie shrimp and prime rib. Everything we had was good as usual. The one funny thing was there was no mayonaisse on the buffet for ds ham and cheese sandwich. Josh said they keep it in the back and he bought some for ds. Loved the cream of broccoli soup and the coconut flan.
Columbia Harbor House - DH had fish and chips, I had the galley salad, ds 17 had chicken strips and ds 16 had the BLT salad.
Liberty Inn Counter Service - (Epcot) - DH had the double cheeseburger, I had a cheeseburger. The bun was so stale it was falling apart. We shared a fruit cup. I dont know what it was that I ate at either the CHH or LI but I had major tummy trouble that night. We will probably try some other counter service places next time
Rainforest Cafe at Animal Kingdom- We dont have one of these by our home so the ds like this place. We shared the awesome appetizer, ds 17 had the steak and shrimp, ds 16 had the barbeque chicken wrap, dh had the barbeque beef wrap and I had the coconut shrimp. Good meal as usual. We were in the atlas room, not as visual as the other rooms but the ds liked the fish tank views.
Garden Grove at the Swan Sunday Brunch - I promised ds 16 mickey waffles and ohanas and the beach club were booked so another poster did say they had mickey waffles here so we tried it. Also they had goofy and pluto. The buffet was great. We all loved it. They had made to order omlets, cereal, lots of pastries, I enjoyed the blueberry muffins and a cinnamon/pecan danish. The fruit choices were great too, blueberries, raspberries, melons, kiwi, stawberrys etc. We definetely will be back here.
Studio Catering Company - I got the turkey pannini which was great as usual. DH had a hot dog. We shared the fries and carrots and dh got some grapes to share which were good.
Boardwalk Bakery - Blueberry Muffins, Sticky Buns, Cherry Danish, and the only thing ds 17 didnt like was the egg sandwhich. He thought it was not fresh and the bacon was mixed in with the eggs etc.
Snacks - Churros in Mexico _ Yuck!!
Kaki Gori - Japan, rainbow for me as usual, awesome!!
Beverly Sunset Sweets - MGM - Carmel apples, candy apples, fudge apples with reeses pieces, yum, yum, chocolate toffee bar, carmel peanut butter cup and then their cold slushy drinks - pina colada, black cherry, blue raspberry and strawberry. Love this place.
Fountain View - Ice cream. I didnt have any but they said it was good.
I should also add we had an adr at LTT for a late lunch but we got there late and the manager said because of the bad weather people were not leaving the tables and she did ask us if we wanted to change it to the lst dinner but we said no because I know the ds hate the dinner food here so she did try to work with us considering some of the blame was us showing up late. I thought that was nice of her.
