Ok... I am a WDW expert but not overly familiar with DL. SO... just to double check-- I can book dining 60 days in advance but no sooner right? Also... is it 60 days plus 10 like WDW does 180 plus 10? We are staying at the DLH and just want to make sure I make our reservations as soon as I can.

I think it is just plain old 60 days, but don't sweat it! It's NOTHING like WDW in terms of competition for ADR's where the onsite +10 rule is really helpful for Le Celier, 'OHana, CRT, etc.

We just got back from our first trip to DLR after numerous WDW trips. I was able to make all of my dining reservations about 2 weeks out (we actually made Ariel's Grotto reservations a week out and Rainforest Cafe' 2 days before we left home) ... they don't give you confirmation numbers or anything - they just take your name and say "Okay". I'm sure you can get everything you want with NO PROBLEM if you book at 59 days! :)

Phew ok good... I just want to make sure the trip is perfect since I haven't been to DL in 10 years! I go to WDW 2-3 times a year but thought I'd make the trip out west! I am SO excited and I can't wait! Thank you! :goodvibes

And actually its usually 2 months instead of 60 days. I would NOT stress. I've been able to get reservations for character meals for a party of 20 at a little over a month. The only time I'd stress about the 2 month mark is if you are eating on a holiday.

Yup, I agree, just got all the ressies and times I wanted at less than two weeks out!

I frequently get ressies during the non-over-the-top busy periods for an hour later. I often call disney dining from the hotel in the morning to get a sit down location for breakfast. You can do walk up, but the wait might be 20-30 mins. Now, during weeks like Christmas time, you need to be booking 30 days to 60 days out. But during regular season, it isn't that bad.

Agreed. I got a World of Color dining package in less than a week (in opening month) and a reservation to The Blue Bayou in two days. It is so easy to get DLR reservations.

I was able to get reservations for some places on my recent triup day of...

It's the way WDW dining used to be...
