I just saw a mention of someone signed up to get restaurant reservation alerts. I found a service through a quick google search. I don’t know if there are more than one, but this one can be either free or $9 for a month…not saying the name bc don’t want to break rules. But I am looking for recommendations. We go in 11 days, and there are some ressies I would like to improve, such as Sci Fi and Space 220…both on the same day and just hours apart. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I am currently trolling reservations. I honestly thought given the current “situation” in the country ppl would be canceling ressies, but not finding that to be true. Thanks! 🤗

If you're only interested in 2 restaurants, I'd recommend the free touring plans option. Basically, if you don't have one, sign up for their free account, then you can set up 2 alerts.

I had decent luck getting/changing reservations this way, though I didn't really get any hits on my Space 220 alert. I didn't set one up for sci Fi.

If you get an alert, but it's gone by the time you get to the Disney reservation page, you will need to go back to the Touring Plans website and restart the alert as it stops when it finds a reservation. Prevents spam so you don't keep getting it if you're successful.

I also recommend the Touring Plans alerts. You can only do two at a time and, if one comes up, but you miss it, you have to reset the search. I find they are a little faster at notifications than some of the other sites. Except for Space 220 in early October which never popped up, I've had great luck with TP.

A third for Touring Plans. I've almost always been able to find reservations easily that way!

Can anyone tell me how to set up a "free account" with Touring Plans. I'd like to set a reservation alert with them but can't see how to sign up without paying the $17.95 subscription fee?

I always use the $9/month site and have had incredible success. It's totally worth it for me.
