Dining Plan

We have decided to book the 4/3 special, but are still undecided about doing the dining plan. Can the dining plan be added when we arrive at WDW or does it have added when booking the package?

You can't add it to a package reservation after you arrive. The dining plan must be added to package reservations at least 72 hours before your arrival date.

Thank you. I thought maybe it was like the park hoppers in that it can be added at any time during your trip. So to make sure I understand this correctly, as long as we add it 3 days before our arrival date we will be okay?

That's the way I understand it. Remember that the DDP is part of a package which has to be paid for in advance - usually 45 days out. I would assme that if you add the DDP within that 45 day window you would have to pay immediately.
