Dining Plan on DVC...?

Hi All,
With the various (now 3) ontions on the DDP, do you have to book a plan for each person staying at your DVC resort, or could you book less? E.g. if 2 adults / 2 children staying, could you book 2 adults and 1 child on the plan and do some meal sharing?

I don't think that the DDP has been officially released for DVC members yet, it's probably just a matter of time, but the way it has worked in the past was that everybody on a reservation must be on the dining plan if the dining plan is desired.

The DDP has been available to DVC members for some time. It is the same cost as it is for those doing the WDW packages. You must purchase it for every member of your traveling party for every night of your stay. It must be added at least 48 hours before your check-in date and must be paid for at the time of check-in.

There is a new, counter-service, dining plan for 2009 that has just been announced by WDW. So far it is not available to DVC members, but many think that it will be in the near future.
