Dining Plan for point renter.

Please don't flame me. I am not a member but would so love to be. I have rented points in the past and hope to again. I know members can do the dining plan when staying on points but can a renter? If so how does it work?

TIA and I hope this isn't a "bad" question. Not sure if this is a no no so please be kind.

Renters are eligible to add the Dining Plan to their reservations. Just ask the owner to call MS and add it for you - it must be done in advance. The cost for 2006 is $37.99 per adult per night of your stay and $10.99 for children. If you purchase, it must be for every member of your party and for every night of your stay. There is no requirement to buy tickets (buy them where ever you choose) and no minimum stay.

You would pay for the Dp at check in but you cannot add it to your reservation at check in.

P.S. DVC members were not elegible for the "free" dining promotion. And you quesiton is not a bad one.
