Dining plan beverage question

I have a question about the beverages that are included in the regular dining plan. The plans says it covers non-alcoholic beverages. Does that include milkshakes, smoothies or "virgin" drinks like a margarita? Or does it only include soft drinks, iced tea and lemonade, etc?

Thanks!

The DP drinks are usually soft drinks (Coke, Diet Coke, etc), coffee and tea. The ones that you listed are always additional cost.

Actually, there are several restaurants that will allow smoothies, milkshakes, or virgin cocktails...you just need to ask your server.

I do know that at Whispering Canyon Cafe and 50's Prime Time we were allowed to get the milkshakes as our drinks. We just asked.:thumbsup2

We were allowed milkshakes at WCC and smoothies at LC. I would ask the server some say yes and some say no I guess it depends upon the restaurant.

Wow. I didn't know that. Thanks for the info. I was going to add that they should ask the server because I bet it differs from restaurant to restaurant.

We always get a drink at Kona Cafe (I think it's called Sand in Your Pants?) that's half strawberry daiquiri / half pina colada...no alcohol of course, but it is so yummy!

I always ask the server ahead of time. The majority of the restaurants allow you a smoothie or milkshake as your drink. I've never ordered the non-alcoholic drinks (heh no comments, peanut gallery lol), but would assume that would not count as it is from the bar.
