Dining & Fireworks

Ok, complete newbie to Disney, so bear with me please!

I know there are a couple of fireworks shows at MK (Wishes & ?). I'd love to get PS times for dinner at a restaurant that has an outdoor (or indoor) area to eat where you can watch the show AND that is a part of the MYW dining plan. Does anyone have any suggestions? My DH, DS(3) and I are going in June w/ my parents, and I think my parents would especially enjoy getting to sit and eat and watch the show, not having to fight the crowd for a good outdoor spot.

I have to make my PS calls on 3/15, and my head is swimming with all of the possibilities!

Also, does Chef Mickey's character breakfast participate in the dining plan? I'd like to go to that, and I thought I had read posts stating it DID participate in the plan, but I didn't see it on the list I downloaded.

MK only has wishes. you will need to consider either california grill at the contemporary, ohana at the polynesian, which might be the best choice w/the little one, or narccoossee, at grand floridain. not sure if any of these are on the dining plan. good luck!

We ate dinner at Chef Mickey's (on the dining plan) at 5:30 p.m. and then walked down the hall, past the gift shop, and went outside to watch Wishes at 7 p.m. on some benches that are there. As you exit Chef Mickey's, ask a CM to point you in the right direction. YOu can't hear the music, but the view of the fireworks is awesome. It wasn't crowded at all - we got a seat about 20 minutes prior to the show.

On another night, we ate at Kona Cafe (also on the dining plan - and very good!) and then watched Wishes inside in the lounge next to O'Hana. It was great. Nice comfy couches and chairs. We could have gone outside on the beach, but it was drizzling and cold out.

Both were very nice.
