Dining Before MNSSHP Timing Question

I am excited we are going to MNSSHP this year. We did MVMCP last year but living locally we ate before going to the party. This year we want to dine at Crystal Palace before the party.

I can make a reservation for either 3:25pm or 5:35pm the night we want to go. But My concern is timing. It will be 2 adults. If we go with the 5:35 time will we be done before 7pm? or should we do the earlier time and if we get hungry grab a snack?

If it were you which would you choose... 3:25pm or 5:35pm??

I chose 5:30, that way right when you leave the party will be just beginning.

I think that will make it more fun!

voted for 325p...it gives you plenty of time to dine with the characters and be out and about by 7pm.CP tends to sometimes run behind a little and 530p means if you don't get in on time you will be rushing around.Most character meals take 90 mins

I chose 3:25 only because last year we had dinner at the Kona Cafe around 5:00 and were a little late to the party because we had to go back and change into our costumes. This year we are eating a late lunch at the Coral Reef before the party.

We've eaten at CP several times before MNSSHP and MVMCP and always choose 5:30 - 6:00pm range and have never been late for a party yet.

We had early reservations at Wave, showed up even earlier, got on list, still waited almost two hours..didn't get to party until after 7pm. I would suggest a big lunch..and hit the party running..snacks on the curb during parade.

There is so much to see and do at party, if you waste your time eating during party hours you will miss out.

you have been quite lucky I had a 545pm for MVMCP the one year and didn't get seated till almost 630Pm By the time we got done and out of there it was 830p! I was so mad and angry and it was the 2nd year in a row that it happened( the year before was LTT and I missed even more of the party).I simply won't even do adrs past 330pm now on party nights

last year I was able to land a 420 at LTT but this year my CP choices were 335 or 545-I preferred the earlier one-once you are done you can spend the overlap time getting halloween pictures (if you are in costume) around the park with the photo pass guys so you don't have to spend time doing that later.
