Dining at a different resort

If you stay at say a value resort, can you use your DDP CS points to eat at a CS location at a different resort, say Coronado Springs or Port Orleans?

Yes. You can use your CS credits at all CS locations around WDW whether they're in parks or resorts. There are even a few at DTD where you can use your credits.

Definately hit the food court at POR. And WPE at DTD is fabulous for breakfast.

Absolutely; it's a great way to go tour another resort and get an idea for whether you'd like to stay there some time in the future.

The only limitations you have is that your refillable mug can only be used at the resort you are currently staying at, and you can only use the pool(s) of the resort you are currently staying at.

hope you have your own car...it can be a really time-consuming hassle to get from one resort to another using Disney transportation...since busses go from resorts to parks, not resorts to resorts. Can take you 60 or more minute to get from one resort to another. So plan for transportation time, too.

Have to say we've stayed at all levels of Disney resort, and have found the food courts at the values & moderates to all be fairly comparable. Food is all pretty much the same, even CSR Pepper Market looks like a fancier set-up, but that's all it is-the food isn't actually any better.

...wouldn't go out of my way to eat at another resort counter service, JMHO.

DTD, yeah, there's better counter service there (earl of Sandwich and Wolfgang Puck both better than resort counter service.)

Off course you can. Whether they're on the WDW parks and resorts located all over the CS in the CS can be used for credit. DTD is where you can use the your credits. that really best for you.

Thanks Catne. I think I will follow that advice. We will not have a car, so I think we will just plan on eating in the parks or our resort, with the exception of DDT at least once.
