Hi, I'm looking for input from folks who know the QS options at Epcot pretty well.

So, I had originally planned to pick one restaurant in Epcot for dinner on the day we're visiting the WS, but we decided not to be tied down by an ADR so far ahead of time.
Instead, I had an idea. We're going to eat our way around the world with snacks from QS locations. (Basically, we're creating our own F&W evening on a much smaller scale.)

That said, I'm wondering which QS restaurants or even food carts have the best food in the smallest portions - preferably unique bites that we can walk around with instead of sitting at every restaurant we visit. I'm studying menus, but it's hard to tell portion sizes and whether the food will travel..

Thanks in advance!

And if there aren't enough good options to make this plan work, feel free to tell me that too. :rotfl:

Are you willing to share items (as in each person take a bite and then pass it along to the next person)? I ask because many of the QS locations have good items, but they might be easier to eat if you have a table (or at least somewhere to cut the item into pieces). My family likes to pick one location to base (e.g., Liberty Inn) and then we fan out to collect food items from the nearby countries.

I can help with the dessert suggestions!

Both Les Halles (France) and Kringla (Norway) have lots of really good pastries and desserts. So I'd plan to have dessert at one (or both) of these places.

China has really good ice cream (caramel ginger) from the Lotus Blossom Cafe. Maybe half a cup portion size, so enough to share.

Karmel Kuche in Germany has lots of really yummy snacks/candies. The caramel corn is outstanding and quite easy to snack on!

I hear that the fish and chips in UK are excellent. France has lobster bisque, cheese, pasties, ice cream, etc. Japan - Kaki Gori, Tangerine Cafe (Morocco) gets great reviews for their shwarma platters and sliders, brat in Germany, Norway - school bread and more goodies.

We like to get fish & chips in the UK, a cheese plate in France, sushi at the Japan CS, and share a brat in Germany.

There is a Kiosk in China, they have good egg rolls and they have something else that is good. Also Lotus Blossom the QS in China, the kids meal sweet and sour chicken is good as well and it is small since it is a kids meal

Great suggestions! Thanks, everyone. I'm getting super excited about the "eat-around-the-world" plan.::yes::

We're definitely willing to share. Great idea for tasting more things.
And thanks especially for the dessert suggestions. My husband has a huge sweet tooth!

Eating around the world is one of our favorite activities. Definitely need the fish and chips in the UK and a brat in Germany. The rest of the countries, it's whatever we're in the mood for (pastries always in France and Norway)

If he has a sweet tooth, you are going to the right place! France and Germany alone...

It is important to note that the QS locations (not kiosks or carts) are meal size portions, not tapa sized. They are intended to be a meal for an individual. You will not find small portions, like the Food & Wine booths.
You say you are willing to share, so that might work for you
Good Luck

This is one of our favorite things to do! There are usually 2-4 of us so we share whatever treats we pick for each country - nachos in Mexico, brats in Germany, Schoolbread in Norway, it's a lot of fun decided which treat we will go with - sometimes we'll split two! (So hard to choose from those delicious pastries in France!)

Agree with the nachos in Mexico. Big enough to share but small enough that you could walk around with them in hand if you want to. Do bring napkins!

I know! I got creme brûlée last time. Yummy! I am already trying to decide whether I will get that again or try something else!
