Dilemma: what to do with 25 pts?

Hi everyone. I just added on 25 Sept 07 BW points. I have missed the banking deadline. What should I do with them? We are not going to down to Florida until October. I did not pay a MF on these pts either. Are most exchanges with II on a weekly basis? I would appreciate any info you have. I could always try to rent them I guess but I'd rather use them in some capacity. Thank for your help!

I live in MA and am willing to drive pretty much anywhere in New England. When I looked up exchanges, they seemed to be short stays (3-5 night) and week long stays. 25 pts. won't get me either.

Did you just add on via Disney? Your guide should help you get those banked. They have allowed that recently...there was a time they didn't but I would press.

As mentioned, if you got them through Disney, they allow banking the points even when you are past the banking deadline. You need to contact your guide right away as I believe you only have a certain amount of time to bank them.

If you purchased resale, then indeed you are past your banking deadline and some of the suggestions made above may work for you.

I did purchase them right through Disney. I put my name on the waiting list, 5 people ahead of me for Sept UY. That was this past Friday and believe it or not, they were in my account on Saturday night! I was thinking 5-6 months wait! Nice surprise, if I can bank the points even better!

When I purchased my add-on I was able to bank them after the banking deadline... You really did not have an option if you bought after the deadline...
Call MS they should do it for you... and BTW I did not bank right away...

Even the resales are being permitted to bank from what I have read. It isn't like you ignored the deadline, you didn't own when the deadline came and went. I have heard people having no problem banking their points under these circumstances this one time.

Just a quick update: I called MS today and they banked those 25 points. Thanks for much for all your help- now we can split our stay next May at AKV and BWV. Can't wait!
