Here is my newest one:

Let's See How Far We've Come - The inspiration came from the song by Matchbox 20. I wanted to do a layout showing how far it was from MI to CA for our Disneyland trip. I couldn't find any maps that weren't all pixelated. I did find some photos of the state outlines and used those to cut out the states from "paper." The fairy trail doesn't really point to either location since that would have gotten too complicated. The photos from MI to CA are: Our plane at the gate in Detroit, Flying over the Rockies, Flying over the Grand Canyon, and Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland.

Thanks. I don't know what program you use, but in photoshop, I use grouping for templates. I don't know if that's the "right" way, or the easiest way, it's just what I do, lol. I just put whatever paper/picture I want for that template layer on top of the template layer, then I group it together (hold down alt, and then hover between the two layers in the layer palate, and the pointer changes.) I'm sure there are tutorials for whatever program you use to use templates. I'm still a relative newbie at all of this, too (just started in May), so don't worry, you'll learn in no time!

Kswm -- I love it! I love the alpha and the textures on the papers.... that's a great template!!

Thanks! Yes, Britt makes awesome templates. I had such a hard time deciding on how to do the title. I sat on the LO for 2 days trying to figure it out. I ended up just using a font & cutting it out of one of the papers I used for the circles. I like making things look like my paper LOs, so I made it look like something I cut out using the Cricut, and then shadowing it on white paper (since I love shadowing titles on paper LOs!)

The 2 LOs you posted are so cute! Wow, you got some awesome towel animals!! We got a few on the first day, and that was it, lol. The pirate one is just too funny!!

This is a great layout- it could be used for a variety of trips. (And I'm extra-partial to it since I grew up in Michigan). Going into my favorites...

On the Puerto Vallarta port day, we walked down to the Krystal Resort. We learned on the DIS that if you go in the side door, they will let cruisers in for free. It was a really gorgeous place! I kind of struggled with this two pager... Don't know if it really does the pictures justice...

I had been waiting all day to use the new collab kit from Ellie Lash and Shauna of Pineapple Plantation Designs. I had no idea what photo I was going to use until almost the end. LOL That was OK because I knew I was going to use a BW photo so any would have worked. I decided on one of my parents and grandparents from my parent's wedding. D'oh. . . just realized its their 35th anniversary this year. Better start planning something with my siblings!

Finally, I'm here. I'll skip the long/wordy story, but the internet has been down for a couple weeks. So, I couldn't scrap. It came back, but we decided to get a new(upgrade) computer. I am having trouble installing my PSE on it; so, I still cannot scrap anything! But, I can at least check these boards and be AMAZED AT ALL THESE WONDERFUL LOs!!!

Melissa and Brit Thanks for hosting the past challenges. Sorry I couldn't participate. Melissa, I was in the middle of scrapping the "scary" LO when the computer problems started. "A pirate's life not a bug's life" was the title. Thanks for the idea to scrap it!

Christy Thanks for hosting this week's challenge! I don't know if the support people will get back to me in time to participate. However, in the meantime, I LOVE seeing your cruise LOs -- very fun and colorful. I have been noticing many new kits that you are using.

Fran Congratulations on being published! That's quite an accomplishment! Also, thanks for designing; your items work perfectly for disney LOs! I plan to download once the computer issues are fixed.

I only got one layout done today. I went with my sister to see the Dark Knight again. Such an awesome movie! I love how you can totally tell its Chicago. It makes me want to go to Chicago, though its now less than a month until our weekend getaway there. YAY!!! Oh, yeah, posting a layout. Sorry. I did one of me with Eeyore. I LOVE Eeyore. He's awesome!!!

I didn't want to use gray for this one and opted for the pink instead. Love this template by Britt.
