Melissa I love you how you use black/white photos with color LOs! They really pop; I am going to have to try that.

I wanted to do a page as sort of an intro to each port of call.... wish I could take credit for the photos, but I bought them on the ship and scanned them in.

Those are awesome. Left you love at SM. I love the tag at the top. Will definitely have to scraplift that idea.

Here is the one digital layout I got done today. I spend most of the day working on some paper layouts. And realized that stitching on digital layouts is a lot easier than on paper layouts! LOL

Around and around and around . . . - I LOVE the Tea cups. They are one of my favorite rides.

Great LOs! I have been enjoying viewing your LOs over the weekend and this morning!

Melissa -- perfect title and I like how you mixed the alpha with a font.
Christy -- great idea to have an intro page for each port. Are those postcards or actual photos from Shutters? Are those paper shapers easy to use? Keep those LOs coming!
Oh, I can't wait until the PSE support people get back with me regarding re-installing to my new computer! Of course, I"ll still be the slowest scrapper on the block with my one LO per week

Emerson, we all have our own style, one is never better then the other IMO. You'll find your style and settle in. What matters most is that YOU like what you're doing.

I originally did this LO for the challenge this week, then went back and reread the rules and since it's only one photo, doesn't qualify.....or DOES IT since i used the same photo twice? hmmmm.....can I get away with that? Ah well....it needed to be done anyways, and this is the only shot I have that would work!

I think it would qualify, it is two pics. Nothing wrong with creative rule applying.

It's beautiful! I have zero night pics. Well I have some from the film days but they're not pretty. Hubby is always hustling us out before the rush. Next time I'm making him wait for after the rush.

They are 8 x 10 pictures that I scanned in.... I knwo -- I am such a sucker... but when I bought them, I could totally invision a "Port Page" for each one.... So had to have them!

I LOVE The paper shapers.... I scrap in SBC+ and they are super easy to use.... I just add them to a page and them "fill" them with whatever paper I want... it takes like two clicks.... I hope Britt comes out with a second volume!

Wanna know something sad? I don't know where my hard drive is! I think I left it at work or it could be at home. I'm at my In-laws for the night because our AC is out and they can't fix it until the morning and DH is OOT. I looked for about 5 seconds at the house when I was gathering clothes... Oh, I hope I find it easily!

I finally found a moment to scrap again. Britt, I don't know how you do it -- designing and scrapping. Do you work outside the home too? Ugh... there just aren't enough hours in the day.

ok- so I think I see my problem- Texture... would you agree? Do I need to post more for you wonderful people to see my style? I either need to add a little more embellishment- maybe shadows? something is flat and un-fun about my digi layouts--- I LOVE my paper stuff and this should be easier for me-

any suggestions? Maybe I will start a thread and post my newer pages and ask for help--- could that work?
