Did this for the pm. speed scrap over at SM... For our Mazatlan port of call, we did a City Tour with Mazatlan Frank and then went to the Playa Beach Resort....

Oh Christy! I'm in LOVE with those LOS! I want to do DCL so much! Do they let you take pics with your own camera of the characters & the backdrops? Or did you buy all of those? Do they have some sort of special deal? They don't happen to use the Photopass System, do they? Maybe sell a CD? It might just be wishful thinking...

Christy, those LOs are beautiful! I like the juxtaposition realistic looking elements and slightly less realistic looking elements on the Mazatlan (sp?) one.

Sconnell, no photopass as of last April. I do wish they'd go to it too. Would have made the last night at Shutters much less of a madhouse if nothing else ;-)

Thanks so much! It is sure fun to scrap the DCL pics! I am such a sucker... I bought many of the pics they took. (The ones in those 3 LOs are all theirs.) But, they are very good about letting you take your own pictures, and a CM will even take your family photos for you -- so that is nice. They have packaged deals... but they are not great deals like the photopass....and nothing is digital... So I have to scan in all the prints. Seems a little archaic -- but I think that is how all cruise lines are still doing it.

Christy, keep those lo's coming girl!! That Fiesta pic - was that something special for a date, or do you think that is a new background?? I am planning on buying a package this time - last time i only bought 1 8x10 and 1 5x7 - but i am putting aside at least $100 this trip for pics!!

I'm a sucker for pictures... I just can't pass them up. "You can't put a price tag on Memories." (That's the line I use with my DH, anyway!! Since it was a Mexican Riviera cruise, they did a little Fiesta deck party thing and the characters were in Fiesta clothes that night.... I'm thinking that may have been specific to the Mexican Riviera cruise...But I'm not sure. I could totally see that backdrop working with a tropical theme too if they just changed up the characters' clothes a little.

Drats... Wish they had PhotoPass! Since they already have the system worked out for WDW you would think it would be easy to just do the same there! Esp would be great with Land and Sea packages!

Yep sitting and scanning them in is not fun.... we had to do the same with our DD ballet pictures since the photog did not have a digital option.

That is the first thing we do the minute we get home. Then we resize them to fit our needs. FYI, in case you did not know you can go to the Images website to print out a release to do what you wish with the pictures. We have had to use it when having copies made. That also answers the photopass thing....it is an independent company that was going to try a photopass type system versus printing them out awhile back....but that did not work out

Pirate Night.... DD was afraid of Jack... I'm just glad she's not crying... We traveled with 2 other families... so this is the one "Group" shot we got.... LoveGoofy and family were there too -- she'll probably be posting her pages as soon as she gets back from DL...
