Wanna know something sad? I don't know where my hard drive is! I think I left it at work or it could be at home. I'm at my In-laws for the night because our AC is out and they can't fix it until the morning and DH is OOT. I looked for about 5 seconds at the house when I was gathering clothes... Oh, I hope I find it easily!

And it was feels like 107 yesterday! No AC?? Poor you! That's terrible. Did you call Coastal Air?? If you did and got Jeri, that's my DH! I hope you get sorted out soon.

Don't worry. You're going to get it! I still paper scrap twice as fast as I can digi scrap. I'm getting there though. One thing I did was to scraplift entire LOs with the kits at first. I would print the LO, buy the kit, and do it piece by piece. That helped me with getting to know my program, learning which kits and designers I like. It's also helped me with using more embellishments and such. Sometimes you just need someone else to help you get started, but by the end the LO has totally changed and is all yours. Just Keep Moving Forward!

ok- so I think I see my problem- Texture... would you agree? Do I need to post more for you wonderful people to see my style? I either need to add a little more embellishment- maybe shadows? something is flat and un-fun about my digi layouts--- I LOVE my paper stuff and this should be easier for me-

any suggestions? Maybe I will start a thread and post my newer pages and ask for help--- could that work?

I finally found a moment to scrap again. Britt, I don't know how you do it -- designing and scrapping. Do you work outside the home too? Ugh... there just aren't enough hours in the day.

I'm so lucky that digi-scrap designer is now my only job. It didn't use to be, but it is now. YAY. But I work WAY too much. Good thing I LIKE IT!

Christy -- WOW you are just posting layouts like a madwoman lately. They are all awesome, too!! How in the world do you get so many done? I have been slacking a little lately (life has gotten a tad crazy hereO, but even when I'm on a roll, I can't get as many done as you do. Keep up the great work! i LOVE your LOs!

Emerson -- What program are you using? My suggestion is to buy one of Britt's kits and just start playing around with it. make sure to add shadows to your pictures and elements, as that makes them really pop off the page. Also, try jumping in with the challenges here or at scrapmatters. Sometimes limiting the options for a page can really jump start your page creatively. A lot of us here have just started digi scrapping this year, so we were in your shoes not too long ago. Just jump in, share your LO's and ask for feedback. We'll be glad to help!

Dreamcruiser Where did you get the cute mickey Buttons. Is that the Leave the World Behind Add on and if so where did you get it. I have that kit, but unless I am blind I do not have those adorable mickey head buttons.

Emerson Sunshinescraps has a speed scrap Thursday night and a bunch of challenges this week as part of their Sunshine Wonder Week.

Here is the link to the forums. You can see what they have for challenges and the speed scrap. click on the speed scrap one and it will tell you the info for the Thursday night Speedscrap. Labdogs is right about all the new stuff you can learn by doing a challenge or speedscrap...my husband and I were just talking about that lastnight.

1. You were asking about a circle template. I just saw one. Check out http://ikeagoddess.blogspot.com/ and look under tuesdays freebies. There is a circle template in the 2nd section.
2. Regarding your scrapping woes, I think you are being too hard on yourself. I have enjoyed seeing your LOs on the past couple challenges. My advice is similar to the others: keep doing more LOs. I feel that my LOs look rather toddler-ish. However, if I go back and look at my first couple LOs (which I never posted due to embarrassment), there really is an improvement. So, please don't give up; keep on keeping on!

Thanks Jessica. I've been off work for the summer, and the kids are in preschool/daycare two days a week, so that has helped.... Plus I think I was definitely "inspired" when I came home with so many fun pictures from our trip. I am anxious to get the album completed.... The party is going to slow up for me though because it's back to work in a week and a half......
