Hello Jessica!

You are going to love digitial scrapbooking!!! I do use Creative Memories Storybook Creator Plus - it is amazing! I have used PSE and I think that Storybook Creator Plus is much easier to learn and teach. I print all of my 12 x 12 pages at Costco for $2.99 each. It is true that the original Storybook Creator 2.0 is not flexible - but the PLUS version makes everything fully movable and changeable. you can download any kit or any element that is a jpg, png, or gif into the PLUS version. If you have any questions - please feel free to e-mail me and I can help you. I found the Ariel paper on ebay. I have purchased all of the kits that the seller - hangupsframing - has created. They print beautifully!

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have questions!!!!

Jennifer

Thank you for the ebay seller's name! I'm going to get some of her kits right away! I did download all of seebee's stuff, too and I got the other Disney kit that was mentioned (I forget the name of that one). I have quite a stash going now! Thanks for your help! Hopefully I'll have some layouts to share after next weekend!

ETA, can the pre-made pages be used in SBC+? Any idea?

Hello again!

Yes - they definetly can be used in SBC+. All you have to do is bring them into my stuff - I bring them in as a piece of paper and then you can put the pictures behind the pre-made page and they show up in the "windows". I have made an 8 x 8 ABC book using mostly the pre-made pages. I have also used the pre-made pages in 12 x 12. I just started using SBC+ in early Feb at a weekend crop and now I am pumping out pages 4 x as fast as when I did traditional!

My digi scrappy Magnum Opus is this two pager I've been working on for our cruise book:

These are amazing.... So, did you scan all of the individual memorabilia and them import them as individual pics? Great job!

I did scan it all in. It was a pain too! LOL but worth it in the end I think. Thank LO took forever, but it's one of my favs.

I'm not getting my updates from the Dis anymore on threads. So strange. I'm so behind on this one I can't believe it.

Meliahz: There's a digital scrapping Q and A sticky a few threads down from this one. Most of your questions can be answered there. I got started just poking around digi scrapping websites like scrapgirls.com. You can print your LO whatever size you want. Some folks do 8 X 8 or 8.5 X 11 because you can do it at home. I used to paper scrap so I'm still stuck on 12 X 12, and not having a large printer I have to send them out to be done. The quality i've gotten back though is great. Just keep looking around here and on the net, you'll be on your way in no time.

May I ask which company you use for printing your 12 X 12 pages? Thanks!

OK, here it is, the title page for my first all Digital Disney album, made in CM Storybook Creator Plus software, using one of their pre-designed pages from the Primary line (since it seemed to fit so well), with some embellishments from "the Happiest Kit on Earth" by Britt-ish designs!!! I am getting SO excited for my all weekend crop this weekend!!! Here's the layout!

Jessica,

Your 1st page looks great! I hope you have fun at your weekend crop.

Jennifer

I did three more pages. I used CM everyday templates, Britt-ish Designs Happiest Kit on Earth elements, Seebee's Freebies Dream Trip circles, and Creative Imaginations Magic Kit.
Enjoy!

Here is a page I whipped up today. I branched out and did an Easter page! I did it for a challenge on Scrap Matters where it had to be something springy. I hope you like it! I used CM's SBC+ to do the layout and I imcorporated elements from Britt-ish design's Dreams Do Come True Kit and Peppermint Creative's Painted Season (freebie kit).

Wow! This is so cute! I love the eggs as the background! Have you printed any yet? I really fell in love with digital after I printed. Your pages look like you have been doing this for years!

Thanks. I think I'm doing pretty good for only being at this a week! Of course, I've been scrapbooking for almost ten years, so I guess that helps! Digital just suits me so much better, I'm finding. I love that I can change things, move them a tiny bit, find the perfect spot for everything and then just leave it there! Not having to pick everything back up to adhere it to the page is a huge improvement in the process!! I also love that I can crop pictures one way and then do it over again if I don't like it. You sure can't do that with a printed picture!

I haven't printed any yet. I can't wait to order that Easter layout! Any recommendations for reasonably priced 12x12 prints?

I print at Costco $2.99 per 12 x 12 page. CM Photo Center is more expensive - $3.99 for 25 and the prices go up from there. I will continue to use Costco because of the price and also because of the convenience. Someone else on the board may know other places! I can't wait to see what you get done at the crop!

Shutterfly prints them too. I can't remember the exact cost right now, but I think that if you print eight or more at a time the price drops to about $2 a page. I remember the last time I printed I saved up a bunch to do all at one time. HTH
