Thanks and by the way, where in NC are you located?

I went and checked out the link and it appears to me that their graphics are not available for macs, only pc's. :( Guess I should have figured that out from their name. Love the site though.

i hope this is the right spot to post, but i see some neat journaling sections but cannot seem to get my text into them neatly. Some of my jounraling blocks have lines and i cannot get my text on them neatly. does anyone have any help. I am new and using Photoshop.
TIA

If you have journalling elements with lines and you want to "write" on them, you have to do one line of text at a time and then start a new line of text for the next line, or it won't line up on the lines.

I haven't posted here in forever, so I'll post a few. Hopefully I haven't posted these already, if I did, please forgive me! These are from our Sept 2007 trip. Click images to see credits.

And here's one from after my son scalped himself with scissors:

Great pages Fran! I have a Pluto photo from Animal Kingdom and was wondering what to do with him. Might have to scraplift! :thumbsup2

Hi Everyone!

I love all the pages on this thread! I just started doing digital in Feb. My first 4 pages are posted on my cm website under my files. I am now obsessed with Storybook Creator Plus (the software) - it is like using " digital scrapbooking for dummies" :rotfl:

The pages are really simple - but it is a start!!!

they are posted on mycmsite.com/sites/jenniferburroughs/my-files

I can't wait to look at the other pages posted on this thread!

I am in the Triangle area.
The image files are mostly jpg so if you can get someone with a PC to download them I suppose you could transfer the images to your mac.

"It's a small World" after all. My DH and I live in North Raleigh and we both work in Cary. We are having some fantastic weather right now, aren't we? Too bad this can't last all year round. My Dh is an avid amateur photographer, and I am sure he would enjoy comparing notes sometime. I am a point and shoot kinda gal myself, but every now and then I get a better shot than he does.

Once again, thanks again for sharing your beautiful photos.

Here's my latest from the AK parade. I changed some of the photos to a sepia with some color because the whole thing was just a little too bright, but I'm not sure I'm going to keep it. This may just the wrong LO for pictures that are all so colorful. Or maybe it's the paper! LOL

I'm way back on page 12, I want to see EVERY layout, but I wanted to stop reading and say, thanks for sharing!! I want to get into digi scrapping more, so I'm downloading stuff like mad right now. I'm going to a two day crop next weekend and I plan to do all digital layouts of my most recent Disney trip during the weekend. This thread should help me get prepared! Thanks so much to everyone who shares their ideas, digital papers, elements, and layouts! I'm loving this thread!

BTW, does anyone use Creative Memories Storybook Creator Plus software for their scrapping? I have it and PSE, but I haven't decided which to use more going forward. I plan to use the layouts mostly for uploading to Shutterfly to be included in full-bleed photobooks.

My suggestion would be to make all the photos sepia with just a hint of color. I think it looks really sharp.

I like how you did your journaling going down the center, but it seems to almost get lost on the paper. I wonder if changing the color would help it pop a bit more.

The photos and paper are beautiful! Well done!

Where did you get the Ariel page elements? Where does everyone get the Disney clip art that they use in their layouts?

i am just starting digital too. I did do CM storybook in the past but love the flexiblity of using photoshop and making things with downloaded kits. There is a sticky in this forum with links to digital stuff and disney clips. Several helpful people have referred to sites but my computer crashed and i don't have the links.
As for clipart, disneyclips.com is one i can think of that you can use with photoshop. good luck.,

Hello Jessica!

You are going to love digitial scrapbooking!!! I do use Creative Memories Storybook Creator Plus - it is amazing! I have used PSE and I think that Storybook Creator Plus is much easier to learn and teach. I print all of my 12 x 12 pages at Costco for $2.99 each. It is true that the original Storybook Creator 2.0 is not flexible - but the PLUS version makes everything fully movable and changeable. you can download any kit or any element that is a jpg, png, or gif into the PLUS version. If you have any questions - please feel free to e-mail me and I can help you. I found the Ariel paper on ebay. I have purchased all of the kits that the seller - hangupsframing - has created. They print beautifully!

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have questions!!!!

Jennifer
