Diez (10) Noches Calientes en la Riviera Mexicana/17 de abril 2011 (4.17.11 Wonder!)

Sorry it has been sooooo long since I posted:goodvibes
We have been so busy we have barley talked about the cruise around here little alone plan on where we want to eat or what excursions we want to do. We will most likely just do beach and snorkeling excursions.
Cory will be gone most of this month in Texas and Germany for work so that may free up some time so I can plan some stuff.

Also we have decided not to do the FE this trip.

I still have to figure out hotels and car rental\shuttle for before and after the cruise:scared1:

Hi all - I have done some quick searching but haven't come up with much on the topic of "bon voyage" gift baskets that can be sent to the ship. It seems there is someone (Shirley) who does this for the east coast but I don't seem to see anyone listed for the west coast (but perhaps I've missed it.) Does anyone here know about a company that would send gift baskets, preferably Disney themed ones, to the ship?
Thanks in advance.
Maria

We have to wait until the 16th also. We're going to try to book Palo dinner on the 25th since it's our wedding anniversary. I am also hoping that with so many sea days, tea and brunch will be easier to get too...

Just took a look at our reservation and we have to wait until February 1st to book. I guess we will see what is left by then. :scared1:

Does any one have
~link to website for this cruise?
~specifics on Fish Extenders? (I did this years ago, but am unclear on how many gifts to bring, etc.)

THANKS!!!!

Thanks Laura, took you off the list.

Disney themselves sell baskets that will be left in your stateroom. Here is a direct link.

Since this is a longer cruise, you will be able to get Palo. If not online, when you get to the ship I know something will be open.

Looking forward to dining with you, Ann-Marie and your kids. We should have a fun table.

I am in charge of the FE group. Following is the list of interested people I have so far. If I am missing anyone or you want off the list, please let me know. I think we are going to cut the list at least in half and have 2 groups or more depending on how many staterooms. I think there might be some people on the list who are no longer sailing with us. We have not set a cut-off date yet to join. What is everyone's thoughts of March 1st as the cut-off date? Is a month and a half enough time to get your stuff together? Any late comers we will put in their own group.

I will start PM'ing the interested participants to get number of people and ages of children.

Don't worry, all us first time DCLers have to wait. We can actually do it on Jan 31st at 9pm PT. :thumbsup2

I am hoping to get Palo ressies on the 18th (2nd day out) and a brunch on 21st, at this time I am not interested in High Tea, being it's so close to our dining time.

That is great news Sandy. We will be eagerly logged into DCL website to try to book Palo and excursions on Jan 31st. Still trying to figure out when to do Palo and what excursions to do. And of course my wife is still trying to decide what spa stuff she wants. So much to still plan

Thanks Kristi!!!! Not so nervous now. Ann-Marie and I are excited about dining with you and your family too. I think we will have a blast.

Someone posted the link on another thread. It shows the Wonder leaving PC this afternoon on her way to LA and cruising past the Dream. I feel a little silly about it, but every time I hear those horns I get all teary-eyed!

That is so cool!!!!! I did not know the Dream's horn was different from the Wonder/Magic horns :rolleyes1

yeah the wonder is in your way!!!:cool1::cool1:

Don't worry Virdis & Sandy - My understanding is that Disney releases only a number of reservations per booking window (105, 90 & 75 day) and also hold reservations for onboard booking.

Thanks for the link!!!

Re. FE's; my girls will be 5 and 7 at time of sailing.

Are there any other single parents sailing here? I made Palo ressies, but it's just me, so would be happy to share!!!

~Jennifer (one of many!!!)

jweiss-if that´s ok with you my husband and i could shrare your palos resies
please let me kown if you are interessed.

Bitocas..... As a single adult, I get a ressie for 1 or 2, but not 3. If one of you wants to join me for any of the meals, that would be fine!!!
