Find the Facebook group for your cruise and find your daughter a pen pal. That has worked well on 2 cruises for my 13 year old. Someone she can text beforehand, then look for when they get there. I usually find her a couple of pen pals, and she hits it off with at least one. Have a great cruise!

Yes, FB groups are great. Our next cruise in ran by a great leader and she is already organizing meet and greats for Vibe kids.

It really doesn't matter because my son does not like Vibe but Disney cruising is his favorite vacation to go on. He like the sports courts, the family activities we do together and the FOOD.

That's interesting bc my daughter hasn't stopped talking about our last several DCL cruise and has been begging for another. But now she's certain she won't want to meet new people. I asked her what about the cruise made her want to go on another and THE FOOD was high on her list. Lol

Yep, first night and it is late by my standards LOL! My DD made friends and spent so much time in Vibe and hung out with them on CC also. We really struggled with the 1am and 2am timeframes because that just seems SO late to us. And, my DH has a huge fear that someone will send our DD overboard while they are out on the decks at all hours. I can't sleep until our two chicks are back in safely for the night, so I would stay up until she came in, our tween came in much earlier.

DD turns 18 in Feb and is begging for one more cruise before her birthday so that she can go to Vibe one more time! I hope it works out.
