The creators of South Park also are supposed to have a SP show coming out soon that displays Steve Irwin in that exact same way, showing up to Satan's bday party. I was mortified when I heard that. I can't believe people are that cruel.

They were talking about this on a local radio station the other day, wondering if someone was going to do it. The 2 DJ's are also comedians and they both agreed that it is too soon to try to pull that off.

I agreee, very tacky....and waaaaaaaaaaay to soon.

ETA: the Southpark episode aired and Comedy Central took more complaint calls than any other show including where the make fun of religion (hot topic!)

You know, no matter what people thought of Steve Irwin, or even if they are just trying for a "laugh", things like this are beyond pathetic!

That is SO,SO,SO wrong on so many levels.

I have a gross sense of humor and never would I do such a thing. It is far too early and disrespectful. By "early" I mean that I'm sure someone would make fun of it at some time, but this is too much.

I hope his family isn't aware of this.

I'll never watch or listen to anything with Bill Maher in it again. Maybe if we all do that, then he'll get the message.

Am I the only one that thinks that photo looks fishy? If it really is Bill Maher, then shame on him, but somehow I think the conservative pundits would be having a field day if it really was a photo of him.
