I believe I did at the qs place in Mexico one year. Have been there before/after no issues, but that one was a rough night.oI am just curious. They get thousands of people coming into the parks every day so food safety must be a huge concern when preparing so many meals.
So did you ever get food poisoning (or believed that you did) at WDW? Where did you eat?
Yeah I gave my example on a different thread. My food poisoning happened during the Swine Flu time period. I only had a 3 hr stay in the hospital but I needed 2 bags of IV fluid, potassium pills, anti-nausea meds, etc. When we called the nurses hotline (who could actually give medical advice over the phone) they said to wait it out (with my symptoms I had) unless you had a fever of 102.5 then you could seek medical care. Lordy I had never wanted to get a high enough fever than I did at that point. Took a while but my temperature did get high enough and I went to the ER. It's been 11 years and I still remember the pain vividly.Unless you have gone to a doctor or hospital and been tested, you can't really say "I HAD food poisoning". All you know is something made you ill. Could have been food, could have been a virus, could have been the water, could have just been some freak situation... anything really.
As someone who has had diagnosed food poisoning and was hospitalized because of it, I know well what it is like.
I can handle Anaheim water okay but for the taste it has to ICE cold.
Yes. We ate at the Port Orleans food court many years ago. I ordered spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs tasted really off, but I took a few bites, thinking I was just imagining things. I was sick for the next 3 days. Really, really sick to my stomach. We were staying at Old Key West, and I sent my husband and kids off to the parks each day. I stayed in bed just exhausted.

Only been to WDW once, no issues. Anaheim I have been to dozens of times, never got sick, but Anaheim drinking water is not the best tasting I have ever had. Not the worse, almost anywhere in Texas has awful tasting water.I don't think the water is actually bad, but it's all in what you are used to. If you come from somewhere where the water quality is higher, it may upset your stomach. I can drink Orlando water okay, but Anaheim water is to be avoided!
