Did you ever get food poisoning at WDW?

DH and I ended up with hepatitis A, and the look back time was when we were in WDW for a week. I lived alone, DH’s roommates didnt have it, none of our co-workers had it. The only time we went out to eat was at WDW.

If didn't really make me sick, but I do remember on the first day feeling just a little upset stomach and we were talking to locals in line for Haunted Manasion and they were aghast that I had been drinking the tap water. They advised me to stop. I never really had any issues though.
Only issue I ever had at Disneyland was eating a big greasy breakfast....and then riding the teacups with my then teenage kids who were VERY strong and got the teacup spinning faster than I have ever experience. When we got off, the Castmember looked at my wife and asked if she wanted to sit down!

I went to the airline check-in desk first thing in the morning and went and grabbed Tie-dyed cheesecake to try. A few hours later I was so sick I had to cancel my flight and add another night. I had felt totally fine the entire trip and and just as good that morning when I woke up. Was it food poisoning or just an intolerance to what I ate or something else. I guess I wouldn't know.

Yep. Bad pork at The Wave. Knocked me out flat for the last two days of that trip, including my flight home. Awful.

Not at Disney. I think some people believe it’s food poisoning but more likely a virus, upset from different type of eating/overeating/water difference. I think Disney is rather atop most potential issues, but likely not immune to it. I did get food poisoned once, 4 days hospitalized and on a morphine drip. It was a horror! I had white rice with a Chinese dinner. I was the only one to eat it. The restaurant was inspected, they apparently used a large holder for the white rice with no monitoring of temperature. they had previous violations, one of which was the same issue
( unbeknownst to me/us)
Health dept inspections are available to the public. Look, you may be surprised.

Yes, our last trip was over New Years last year. I had a mixed drink with the premixed Jungle Juice (or whatever it’s called) from one of the outdoor bars at AK. 2 hrs later it hit and was gone after 12 hrs other than having no appetite for the next 2 days. I think it was S. aureus from improperly stored juice. I know I wasn’t drunk from one drink all day, and I have had Norovirus twice which was way worse and lasted way longer.
