Did you and your SO grow up in the same town?

We both grew up in the suburbs of Buffalo, but I'm from Cheektowaga and he's from Tonawanda. My suburb was to the east of the city, his is to the north and I never really went north of the city much and hedidn't come east or south of the city! We are the same age but didn't meet until age 25 when a friend of mine was dating his friend and they thought we would be a good match and introduced us. We've been married 17 years so I guess they were right...(even though they stopped dating after 3 months and she has had 2 marriages already, and he has been divorced and remarried too!)
And a strange coincidence that we discovered was that we were both in California in July of 1977, at the same time!!

My husband and I grew up a mile apart from each other, were best friends from the 6th grade until graduation. I used to set him up with all of my friends. It wasn't until I attended college out of town that we figured out that we loved each other more than just friends. We just celebrated our 18th wedding anniversay last month!!

Nope. We grew up 35 miles apart. Different counties. A whole mountain separated us. His HS was my HS's rival in football too.

Yep! We actually started dating in high school.

No, DH grew up about 20 miles away. DH spent some summers in Chicago at Olympia Fields Golf Course and lived in Fl for about 2 yrs. I always lived in the same town. Met DH at work when he came back to area because his Mom was sick.

We lived a mile apart. Went to different grade schools, but went to the same highschool. We didn't start seeing each other until after he graduated. I was 2 years behind.

Same city, same general neighborhood, and we attended the same high school, but not at the same time. We didn't meet until I was 30 and he was 26. But we knew lots of the same people growing up.

not even close. i grew up in upstate ny and dh grew up in a suburb of san francisco, ca. we met in college.

DH and I grew up in neighboring towns, our schools were football rivals.

Dh and I grew up in neighboring towns, even shared the same zip code. Easily walked back and forth between the two.

We didn't attend the same schools, he went through 12 grades of catholic schooling, I went to public.
