OMGosh that room was gross. When I made our reservations I asked for teh VIP cleaning and the CM went over some stuff on it. She said "so what else do you need on this?" My response was to make sure there was no mold in the room and she said the resorts did not have mold in them. Thank you for proving her wrong. lol My youngest would have ended up back on steroids or in the hospital with that room as she is very allergic to mold which sets her asthma off big time. Shoot, that is the main reason she goes to a school out of our district.

I love the Sea World pics. I so want to go there and Discovery Cove. One day when I win the lottery I will get to go to Discovery Cove.

I luv, luv, luv Sea world too! DH..not so much. Loved your photos. We were there in July and your photos bring me right back there! I am obsessed with the dolphins. My family left me in the underground area (where hairy pit man was photographed) or I refused to leave~whatever~ I could stay there all day. It's so calming like watching an aquarium...ummm. maybe because it IS an aquarium
I want a million dollars so I can have several aquariums in my house. One in the ceiling above my bed and one for sure in the island of the kitchen. Instead of cabinets under the couter, it would be a mongo aquarium. Of course I would have money for someone else to take care of cause I kill fish. Or they escape. Remid me to tell you about the lobster I found awol - walking down my hall.
The sea lion exhibit was awesome too. There were a bunch of little ones when we went in July. Did you see any?
Nope - this was before the babies - maybe the kissie ones made the babies you saw in July - not sure the gestation period?

We love SeaWorld, too. My girls loved petting the dolphins. Very cool. The Shamu shows are great...but I agree with you on the dolphin show -- too much emphasis on the flying bird-people and not enough on the dolphins.

Depends. In 7th grade Treyner had Facts class. This combines sex ed with home economics. I am not sure if they learn to quilt condoms or what. Anyway at conferences which I made my kids go so we had a sense of the true stories - the Facts teacher said:

"Treyner is a class clown and I think he likes getting attention by saying things that are not true."

I asked, "Like What?"

She said, "Well last week we were talking sex respect and how you should not call someone body parts or threaten to hurt body parts. Like a girl should not threaten to punch another girl in the breast. treyner raised his hand and when I called on him, he said:

"So When my mom said if my grades weren't better she would pull my balls through my nose and staple them to my forehead, that would be wrong?"

Now Dawn, I am sure you did not say that."

Sh!t.

I said..."Well now that you mention it, I might have said something exactly like that." I admitted while jabbing my finger into Treyner's left high under the desk we were sitting at.

She just stared at me and I offered to get her lower lip from my shoe.

So yeah - the kids think I am funny but think it is even funnier to use my humor against me to fight the evil forces of doom.

My laptop just got a coffee shower. I can picture the teacher looking at you like you had two heads to that....are you sure you arent my sister? I remember a time when my sister had a new boyfriend over and my brother and I had the talk about how farting during dinner is actually a compliment in some cultures. (as my brother proudly set off the compliment trumpets to the tune and Stench of beans..LOL) his daughter is also the proud blower of the best snot rockets on her block..go figure...LOL

My DD Reese last year took a child development class, it wasn't what she thought it would be. One day a lady guest speaker came in with her 3 week old baby and was demonstrating on how to give the baby a bath. She had run the water, added a little soap to it, undressed the baby, and then asked Reese, "What would be your first step?" Reese answered "my first step would be to not bring a new baby to a nasty germ filled highschool full of snot slingers and a threat of swine flu dripping off the walls."

I think that was a logical answer and couldn't understand why her teacher would call me for this until she continued to tell me, that they were discusiing breast feeding, when the guest speaker said, "You will never feel closer to your baby then when you are breast feeding." Reese speaks up, "Hello, it shot out of your cooter, can't get much closer then that." I couldn't contain my laughter, yes, Reese was rude, but it was funny. she got detention for that. And teacher pretty much told me that I should serve it with her since I thought it was so funny.

'Having a baby shoot out of your cooter..." ummmm that was priceless. And can you imagine the kids...I bet they were cracking up. Tell the teacher to pull her head out of her butt and laugh for once....rude yes. But pee your pants funny...also yes. Maybe it was the teachers family member..LOL....I woulda asked if the school principal was okay with the baby porn part of the lesson.....I cant see that a naked baby being washed in class was okay...wouldnt a cabbage patch have served better in a school? It often is - I have been known to stand on a manequin platform and when people walk by scare the bejessus out of them. What is really funny is doing it at Gap or Old Navy -They provide you with a big stage and people walk by and are like

So I got Treyner from the airport yesterday morning - I will give a whole weekend rundown tom. - but it was so good to see him and I busted out bawling at the airport. I have never cried at the airport and hugged someone so hard. I try to keep my emotions in check but man - seeing that boy head to me after almost 3 months was harder than I thought.

Gone all day but promise to get a lot or writing done tom.

We did TTA during MNSSHP but it was the first time we had ever done it so I couldn't tell you about the refurb. I really liked that it was a nice ride to take a break from the walking and we even caught some of the fireworks.

I tried to find a photo but there's only a video on her web page. I don't think I can post links (I don't want to upset the disboards) but if you go to ellentv and search for the pluto photo it will bring you to the video of the segment. The pluto photo is the last photo. I thought of you, Dawn! I have to warn you that the photo is not G rated.
