Did anyone get GF concierge?

Did anyone get GF concierge with the AP or FL resident rates?

no discount at all I have tried every thing.

Yes, I was able to change from my AAA rate of $450.54 to an AP rate of $323.14 (includes tax) per nite. This rate does include a 3rd adult charge of $25.00.....my oldest son is no longer a "child"

Yes - we also got the sugar loaf for $294 tax included for 2 people and we also got the main building - RPC Honeymoon Suite for $450 a night - also tax included.

But it was alot of work for my DH. Had to keep calling multiple times until something became avail. So we really all love him even more this weekend!

Suzywindy, Claudia, and all, the rates you obtained for the GF concierage are less than I received for GF lagoon view room ($315). Are the concierage rates you obtained garden view? If not, I can't figure the difference out because I am using the AP discount as well. Thanks, Carolyn from NJ

I don't believe that there are specific "views" in SL concierge, as is offered in some other guest rooms. I think that the room rate is the same with all rooms....but if someone knows different, I am sure that they will let me know. Possibly it is the time as to when you are going??? We are arriving on Dec. 19th, which is still in value season.

That is the only difference I can think of would be the time of year you are going. If you look on mousesavers you will see samples of prices people are paying for GV or LV at the GF and they are lower than your price.

If you are going in value season - please do what my DH did - he kept calling a few times a day to get a discounted room as they were all sold out.........and then bingo!

I feel your pain...we're in the same situation. All four of us going have AP's and we can't get a discount either cause we're going in September...did get at AAA discount though, maybe you should consider joining, it might be worth it for the discount!

No more AP's for us...never again!

Value season for your time frame is October 1 - November 2.... The lagoon view in that time frame would cost $400.00 + tax. Maybe you should give a call back....possibly the CM you originally booked with didn't enter the correct code info??? It seems very high compared to what rate I received.

Claudia always beats me with great advice. I agree again. I would keep calling because if you look up the rate on mousesavers you will see what rates are listed for GF Lagoon View.

I figure there are not alot of rooms they blocked off - and it took us 4 tries to get that rate as they kept telling my DH that they were sold out.

Thanks for the advice. I am going to call the CM again. But I checked on the dates for value season and the chart said for deluxes the time period is 7/4-10/1. So, I think maybe the CM just made a mistake on the price. Thanks again. Carolyn

Sorry Carolyn....gave you the wrong info on rates....October 1 - November 2 is regular season...(it's taking me some time to get used to the season change...used to be value!!!) which would bring up the lagoon view to $455.00 + tax. But I would still call and try again...you never know.

I had an AP rate. My best advise it to keep trying in case something opens up. I'm thrilled with the rate!

Possibly they are not available for the time you want to visit. The discounts for concierge are definitely available...many have gotten them. Our discount was an AP, but people have also gotten DC and AAA discounts as well.
