...a few years ago I went to Typhoon Lagoon on the Humunga Kowabunga and inadvertently uncrossed my legs going down. (Whoops!). Let me just say, doing this is bad...very bad. When I hit the water, it felt like Hulk Hogan had just punched me in the butthole :rotfl: I also couldn't sit down for an hour. My sister has since renamed the ride "Humunga Buttunga :)

Did anybody else accidentally do this and suffer the consequences?

No and, after reading your...er...vivid explanation, we'll make sure we never do!

LOL that must not be very comfy. Never did that, however, when I was younger, my uncle went on the big slide at River Country. You climb up pretty high, slide down, then go thru the air about 20 feet or so before hitting the water. Well, he accidentally uncrossed his legs in the air, so they were apart when hitting the water. Lets just say it was not the most pleasant experience for him.

Yeeouch!! Luckily, I've never experienced that at any WDW waterparks. I did have a similar experience once while waterskiing, though. I fell trying to jump the wake, and boy, did I have a "water wedgie"!!

Try falling behind your Standup Jetski at about 50 mph and still holding on to the gas .

Talk about jetwash yea it was washed alright

I know the feeling, but I sure wish I didn't :sad2: . Growing up in NJ we used to waterski on the Delaware River. We used to call them "Delaware Enimas".

I had a similar experience when I wiped out while water-skiing. Now I know one reason why people wear wet suits. :rotfl2: They even have a term for it (amongst professional water-sports athletes), it's called an “orifice injury” and it really can do a lot of damage. :lmao: I know it's not funny, but I can't stop laughing. :rotfl:

Kathy :)

Can't. Stop. Laughing. Eyes. Watering. Uncontrollably.

Thank you for making my evening. :rotfl:

:rotfl2: I have never been brave enough to go down that thing. However I have had the pleasure of watching my DH go down the giant slide at Blizzard Beach with his legs uncrossed. It is one of the funniest things I have ever seen! He said it was pretty painful. :rotfl2:

I hope the tag fairy isn't reading this thread. Could you imagine that being your tag? :lmao:

All I have to say is at least us guys can wear large baggy swim trunks. I truly feel for you ladies.

But like others I have been an unwilling victim to the power wedgie from a nasty water-ski fall as well. I swear the lake's depth dropped by 2 feet. :sad2:

Pray the Tag Fairy doesn't come a flittin' 'round! :lmao:

Hey, never saw this heads up in UG or TGM! :teeth:

it wasn't the swimsuit that got to me... it was the water that got lodged.... it was quite embarassing afterwards.... I had a trickle that felt pretty odd

Once at a local water park with my family (many many years ago)...

My Dad was going down a water slide and being a rather heavy person he caught up with the person in front of him and then passed them on the slide. When he reached the bottom he noticed something strange around his ankle. He looked down and it was the bottom half of a young ladies swim suit!! When she came off the slide, her face was as red as a beet! My Mom took the bottoms back to her and we haven't stopped laughing about it to this day! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

If only you could see the tears running down my face right now. I think this is the funniest story I have heard in a long time! I was laughing so hard, that I couldn't even get the whole story out when I tried to re-tell it! :rotfl2: :rotfl: :lmao:

Kathy :rotfl:

You all have made me laugh so hard that I can hardly catch my breath! Tears streaming down my face and my kids wondering 'what is wrong with mommy'. :lmao:
I have never experienced any of those incidences but I will keep the tips in mind! ;)

I'm laughing so hard my asthma is acting up. And I'm coughing like crazy. I don't think I'll ever ride a waterslide again. :rotfl2:
