I know I remember this place being open for a saloon type show with lunch served(sandwich style foods). What happened to this, why was it closed and what is the building used for now?

This was one of my FAVORITE places in the MK!! I do not know why they closed the show was wonderful and the magician JOHN was FANTASTIC! The place was also ALWAYS packed!! Disney REALLY should BRING this show back, it was so much fun for all ages. The sandwiches and snacks were also good! Joan

My boys were 5.5 and 3.5 in 1989 when we went for the first time and we had lunch while watching that show. It was just sandwiches and chips, but the boys loved it and it was good. I was disappointed when we went back in '98 and it was no longer food and a show.
That has gone too I believe. It was a meet and greet for Woody and friends for a time (not sure if it still is) Woody has his mini street parade now, so I'm not sure if the building is used. I would have loved to have caught the revue when it was running, it did sound fun.
On a side note, I'm planning a trip to Tokyo DL, where they do have their own incarnation - Slue Sue's Diamond Horseshoe. As the map guide describes it - enjoy a western lunch show featuring characters from Toy Story or a lively dinner show staring Pecos Goofy. Kind of sad the original has gone, though it would be nice if the could have something, maybe along the lines of TDL.
we loved this too! It was a great spot to stop, have a snack and enjoy a fun show. It is a shame they closed this. When attendance was so low, yes, now? no, i wish they would bring it back
My mother upon entering while the rest of us did the Space Mtn Mini Marathon (ho hum I miss that too) would go & make reservations for us there.
I thought it was corny at times but I was a teeny bopper what did I know. I went & enjoyed it & my parents would rarely buy us food there since they said it was so expensive .
The last few times we saw the show you didn't have to make reservations to see it. You walked in & stayed for as long as you liked.
I loved sitting up on the balcony even if I thought it was corny!
