DHS and Fant hours vs. new Frozen FW

So now I see 2 Fantasmics per night at DHS the week we are there in August, and later closing (9:30). Is it just me or does it not make sense?

If Frozen FW is 9:45, and Fantasmic II is at 10, how can park closing be 9:30? They just shut everything else down?

Further, if you want the 10p Fantasmic, you won't be able to see the Frozen fireworks, right?

The 2nd performace of Fantasmic has started 30 minutes after park closing for the past several years.

This gives you plenty of time to enjoy the rides right up until closing time, then grab some snacks and head over to the show. We generally show up about 10 minutes before showtime and find great seats. The ampitheater is rarely over half full for the late show.

We were there in early June for a Star Wars weekend. There was no issue with having enough time to see the both fireworks and Fantasmic.

I believe the Frozen fireworks are adjusted for the week(s) in August with the earlier closing...9:15 was reported in a blog and I believe also in a current thread on the Frozen events. *reported in the Disney Parks blog Comments section - 9:15 for fireworks when Studios closes at 9:30.
