Iv'e been wanting to tell everyone for ages now but he finally got the go ahead yesterday.
As from May 11th Martyn will be starting his training to become a paramedic. He passed the medical, fitness, driving test and interview about 4 weeks ago but they were just waiting for his blood test results, we had to wait a little over 3 weeks for these and it has been a very long wait as he gave up the chance to become a traffic officer for this job. They rang him yesterday and said yes you have the job and start 11th may, which just happens to be my 30th birthday lol
So pleased for him as ever since his accident and leaving the Army 7 years ago its all he has wanted to do
Its a 3 year training course and he also gets a degree so lots of hard work for him
He should be ok though as he has the brains of the house hold!
