After his injury at work with a drill last week, DH has been in a cast since Friday. The hand specialist was hoping that the numbness in his fingers was caused by swelling and not nerve damage in his wrist (the bone was actually chipped by the drill!
), so he wanted to be sure the hand was immobile. He goes to the specialist again tomorrow to have it checked out. It is still numb.
The specialist sait if there is nerve damage, he would need surgery to repair the damage. Ugh!! Why can't life be easy anymore?!!!

Thank goodness the doctor isn't recommending surgery!
He does have another cast on and is not permitted back to work, even on light duty until he sees him again on the 8th
. He also needs to go in for an MRI on Monday. When the hospital called this morning to get Den's insurance info and what not, I almost died! I thought he misunderstood the doctor and the surgery was already a definite. The doctor put in the request for the OR last week just so he wouldn't waste anytime if it was needed. I am VERY relieved but do you have ANY IDEA how far off the 8th is!!!
