O.k everything is paid for . then dh can not go. So i am going by myself, I have 10 days of the dinning plan for 2. so when I get there will I get the total of dinners on my card for both of us. I can do several of the 2 point dinning meals if that is so. Just wondering.
just another odd thing about this trip.

I am curious about why you would not cancel your dh reservation and just pay for one person on the dp. you can pay oop for any extra 2 point meals you want and it would still be cheaper than paying for dh if he is not going to be there....

You can use his tb credits. But not understanding why you would pay for all that + u still have his park tickets that ur paying for . Unless you have the never expire one.

Park tickets don't expire if you never use them, so his ticket would be non-expiring by default if he isn't there.

OP, I don't know when you're going, but if it is during free dining they have been known to require that everyone in the party be present at check-in because the value of the "free" dining credits is so much greater than the cost of a ticket (that could be saved for another trip anyway, so there's nothing lost). I don't know if they're going to do the same this year, but it was something that started to prevent people from booking additional non-existent guests in their rooms for the extra dining credits.

Yes the due expire . They expire the last day of your vacation.
Unless you pay for the tickets to never expire.

That's not correct.

MYW tickets do not expire if they have not been activated. Also, the expiration date is 14 days after first use if you do not have the no-expiration option, not the last day of your vacation.

I was also told that during free dining, everyone in the party must be there at check in. My BFF's DH was going to come later, but now he is having to come in when we do for this very reason. We were told that by a Disney CM.

I stand corrected. It's her son that answered this.

Sorry that DH can not go, but any chance that you can take someone else with you? A relative? A good friend?

I know that they have required everyone to be there at check in, but we've done it with the rest of our party hovering over where the kids could be happy, and no one ever questioned the number of people....so it's tough to say.

Well, that stinks! When are your dates? Do you want to go without DH? I know it may be hit or miss, but I think it might be worth calling WDW Reservations and asking if you guys can move your vacation to another week so that you're not travelling (and chowing down!) alone...at least that's what I would do, 'cause I wouldn't wanna do the world w/o my :lovestruc buddy! Good luck to you! :goodvibes

Unless you are within 45 days of arrival, you can have him taken off the reservation without penalty. If you're all paid up it may mean that you are within 45 days of arrival. If that's so, it probably means you aren't on free dining, so you are paying for the extra dining plan. Would you be out more than the $50 change fee for the reservation if you were not able to use all the double dining credits? That is a lot of food for one person.

I would check with Disney anyway if your husband is the primary name on the reservation. If he is, there may be some requirement that he needs to check in. I understand Disney will change anything on a package reservation up to 3 days prior to arrival, except for the name of the primary guest.
