Just caught up (was away this weekend).
Aren't P&F just great!
We met them earlier this year and our little 5 year old just started dancing and playing air guitar with them.
They joined in and the three of them had a ball!
It was hilarious!

Hi All! So glad that many of you let us know that you're still with us!

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend! We are having a beautiful Saturday! Not too hot and humid or rainy which is rare this steamy summer!

We are now less than 2 months from our next Disney trip!! We're enjoying vacation clothes shopping and planning for MNSSHP. This trip will be a bit unusual as Dale and I are going 3 days before Caitlin and my dad arrive and the day after they arrive Dale will be going home. Crazy, right? We just couldn't get everyone's schedules to line up. Lucky for me though I get a whole week (they each get 4 nights) and get 2 Halloween parties Caitlin already told you that she is going to be Boo and my dad and I will be Mike and Sully. Well when Dale decided he wanted the 2 of us to do a party we decided to be Dr. Doofensmirtz and Perry. It should be fun


Time for an update though so here we go.....

After our super fun meet and greet with P&F we decided it was time to do one of my favorites

Now Ariel has long been my favorite princess (although after seeing Brave I may prefer Merida) but I cannot see this show every visit because it makes me Yes I am a huge sap and at the end when King Triton says how much he is going to miss her, I am in tears. Gets me everytime...

I don't know what the problem was in the theater this time but you know how it's kind of misty in there? Well this time it was downright wet! It really was like being in the water and it was cold

When the show was over we wanted to get a snack so we popped in to the SciFi to see if we could get a table, I mean car. Well there was quite a big line but the hostess told us if we'd take a picnic table instead of a car we could be immediately seated. Of course we said "yes".

We were seated along the back wall and IMO it was more comfortable at a round table than in the cars.

Here's our view

Caitlin ever eager to sample the adult beverages that WDW has to offer, ordered the "Comet". The Comet is rum, vodka, gin and tequila topped off with sour mix and cranberry juice. She loved it!

I got my usual coke and we got some spinach dip and chips and onion rings to share.

Our food was really good and the theming of the SciFi is so fun we were really glad we stopped

We finished and paid just in time to head over to Fantasmic! If you remember we had the Fantasmic lunch at the Brown Derby so we had the passes for the preferred seating. We were quickly seated and had an awesome spot. They have moved the preferred area since our last time and it's now smack dab in the middle of the theater. Perfection! While we waited we chatted with a couple nice families around us. One woman said how they'd seen Melissa Joan Hart (Sabrina, anyone?) at the MK that day. Another man told of some issues when they rode the TOT and a kid (teenager) tried to hide that he intentionally didn't buckle up and they shut the ride down and kicked him out. (We miss all the fun )


Finally it was showtime....

When Fantasmic ended we still had time left until the park closed so we headed to ToT so Caitlin could ride at night. There was no line and she walked on

After that we headed over to RNRC so she could use the fast passes some nice ladies gave us earlier. She ended up riding 3 times in a row with no wait!

While she was riding, I was people watching in the dump shop. I love seeing people's reactions. Guys seem to particularly love this ride! I saw one girl of about 10 come out crying while 2 littler kids laughed about "how awesome" it was.

When Caitlin had her fill of runnning around with Aerosmith we decided to call it a night and head back to Pop. As luck would have a bus waiting for us


When we got back we stopped at Petals (the pool bar) and Caitlin had a "Hula Hoop". I know I've said it before but I'll say it again...that girl being 21. The Oscars were on so we watched that while we relaxed then we headed back to our room for a good night's sleep.

What a fun filled day! She sure did get some great pictures...

We love Sci Fi too and thought the food was decent! Those onion rings are so yummy!!

I think it's one of the things I love the most about Disney is talking to new people and getting their take of the days they've had!
