I follow a low carb diet but am planning on working a few after dinner dessert splurges into our trip in December. Here is the list of where we will be eating dinner:

California Grill
Citrico's
Victoria and Albert's
Narcoosee's
Coral Reef
Fulton's or Portabella Yacht Club

I know that I will have dessert at Victoria and Albert's because that's our first anniversary dinner. I don't want to have dessert every night so I'm relying on all of you to tell me the the places I MUST eat dessert at, and which desserts are the ones that are really worth it!!

For CA Grill, I don't know if they still have it (it's been a few years since we've eaten there) but we had an AWESOME chocolate/peanut butter souffle there that we actually had to order before we ordered our dinner...(guess souffles take time!) It was very memorable!

You don't have Artist Point on your list, but the Artist Point Berry Cobbler is TO DIE FOR!! It is my favorite dessert in WDW, and I'm actually a chocoholic, so a fruit dessert is out of character for me!! It is just wonderful...SOOOOO GOOD!!!!

Have fun! Dessert is my favorite course!! LOL

If you are going in a group, I would suggest going to Beaches and Cream at the Beach Club Resort and ordering a Kitchen Sink. The CM's make a big deal of bringing it out. I'm sure someone can post a picture of one. It cost something like $23. It will take a good group of hungry people to eat it. It think it has atleast 10 scoops of ice cream, every kind of topping including brownies and candy bars and to top it off a whole can of whipped cream. It comes in a bowl that looks like a kitchen sink!

The grand marnier souffle at Victoria and Albert's is absolutely amazing -- it just melts in your mouth...it's one of the standards on their menu so it should be available when you are there.

Another at Victoria and Alberts is the caramelized banana. It was sooooo yummy!

For Coral Reef, they have a dessert called the Chocolate Wave, which was amazing (and I'm not a chocolate person!). It was a lava cake with grand marnier sauce, and the CM said that it's consistently voted WDW's #1 Dessert.

I vote for going for the carmelized bananas at Victoria & Albert's

We had them during our Chef's Table experience on Easter Sunday and it was incredible!

They took the souflees off the CG menu a while back and (sort of) replaced them with the Warm Valrhona Chocolate Cake, with a molten "lava" center. Well worth getting.

another vote for chocolate wave at Coral Reef

omg that is "almost" to pretty to eat......remember i said almost!! :rotfl:

OK....so I guess I will TEASE you all! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

On Easter Sunday, March 27, we ate at the Chef's Table at V&A. During the Chef's table they let you try EVERYTHING on their menu that night.

So everyone here is debating what ONE dessert to splurge on to eat. I threw caution to the wind that night....along with calories....and we ate everything....

BESIDES the carmelized bananas I have shown above, we ALSO ate.....

the Grand Marnier Souffle

and

had a trio of chocolate desserts from left to right....

Minature Chocolate Pyramid (I ate some before I remembered to take the picture, :rolleyes1 )

Orange Chocolate Napoleon

Warm Almond Chocolate Timbale

After dinner we ROLLED ourselves outside for a walk!

I just LOVE good dessert!

Another quick ?

Is Beaches and Cream a sit down restaurant that you need a PS for, or is it just a walk over and get it kinda place? Everthing there looks so yummy!! :bitelip:

Rose and Crown is not on the OP's list, but their Sticky Toffee Pudding is yummy. I will say it was the best dessert we had during our Nov `04. We traveled on the Silver Plan, so we had plenty of dessert that trip.

When DH and I first discussed the possibility of our next trip he said, "I don't care what else we do, but I want to go back to England and have that pudding." It impressed him.

Loved the photos from V&A, that's my China pattern.

I have agree to agree about the Sticky Toffee Pudding from Rose & Crown, it is fantastic. The Warm Valrhona Chocolate Cake is also out of this world. We had it a few years ago and it was the perfect ending to a great evening at California Grill.

OMGosh those desserts look amazing!!!! *drool*

Went to the Rose and Crown for lunch last November....they were OUT of the sticky toffee pudding....guess next trip I will go and just have that!

When are we being invited over for dinner then?

MisterDisney,
Sorry I missed your post (had to go out of town unexpectedly).

I couldn't guarantee anything close to the experience I am sure you had at the Chef's Table. Those desserts looked divine!
