Denver-MCO airfare alert!

I've been watching for 6 months, lamenting the increase in airfares - over $400+ roundtrip between Denver and Orlando.

Yesterday - both Frontier and Southwest dropped their lowest fare from $215 each way to $166 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays!!!

That saved us $360 on Southwest and we booked right away!

It looks like it runs for travel dates at least through September -- I hope this helps someone save some for the magic!

I agree, but it's been over $400 for a long time. High fuel prices are killing us at the pump and in travel.

Too bad that's not the same for a Monday to a Monday travel plan...My fiance and I ended up with the $400pp route in August on United. Oh well.

Thanks for the heads up! Just checked Southwest and already the fares are back to $215 each way every day in August & September. They really do make you check constantly...airfare and car rental discounts...gotta keep on your toes I too have been watching fares and they are just ridiculously high and just keep inching higher. We aren't going until October but this gives me hope

I just checked July when we are going and they've already gone back up. I feel very fortunate to have gotten the deal. Sorry you weren't able to get in on it. Check it often and good luck!

There is a 3 day Southwest Sale starting today with fares from DEN-->MCO at $195. Fares are good through October 31st!! The website keeps locking up on me, so I can't quote a fare exactly..but not bad!!
