Can we order a soup or a salad in lieu of an appetizer on the deluxe plan?
TIA

In most cases we found that soups and salads we available as appetizers. But
what is acceptable as an appetizer is different for each restaurant. I know that Wolfgang Pucks, for example, allowed you to select soup as an appetizer, because my daughter did it - but you could not order Sushi as an appetizer, even though it is listed as an appetizer on their menu.

At Narcoosses's, can you select a salad as an appetizer?

Also, for an entree such as grilled filet mignon....For a more "plain steak eater" young adult, can you ask them to prepare say for example without sauces?

Thnx!!!!!

It's all up to the restaurant if they allow you to get a soup or salad instead of the actual appetizer. I'm pretty sure most places can eliminate the sauce if you ask.

At Narcoossee's service is very high so it will be no problem to have it cooked "your way".

When we were there in Aug 2007 we were told we could have 3 courses: soup/salad, appetizer, entree would have been allowable. I chose an appetizer, entree and could hardly fit in a dessert (kids banana split).

Now that appetizers aren't included and its "Dessert" specific, I'm not sure this still applies unless you're on the Deluxe plan.
