Deluxe Club Level at HRH???

Using the search feature, I found posts from quite a while back from several people who stayed club level and had a deluxe room. They stated specifically that they had a pull out couch and were club level on the seventh floor.

This contradicts what I have heard other people say - that the club rooms are exactly the same size as the standard room. I wonder why there is a discrepancy? I supposed they could have taken the pull outs out of the rooms, but they certainly could not have changed the size! Or maybe club level rooms are the same size as standards, but still have a pull out? Or possibly, there are deluxe club level rooms, but they don't advertise them for some reason?

What does everyone think?

Well, I'm going to answer my own question. I spoke to someone at Hard Rock last night and they have all room types available on the club floor. Garden view - 375 sq ft., Pool view 375 sq. ft., Deluxe 400 - 500 sq. ft., Kids Suite 800 sq. ft., and all the other kinds of suites too.

I specifically asked about the deluxe room on club level and she said if you get two queens there is a pull out couch, if you get a king there is not, but they will bring a roll away in (free of charge I assumed). So, that is the low down in case anyone is interested. I booked club level and am hoping for an upgrade to a bigger room - at least now I know there is one!

I booked a Club level room in November and was told that a rollaway was 25.00 extra a night?

I was just assuming about the rollaway - the way she explained it sounded like it was free of charge.

You cannot reserve a deluxe on club level. apparently they exist but they cannot be reserved. if one is available when you check in, you can request it (for the rack rate I presume). but I was told by Universal reservations they cannot book that type of room.

I booked a deluxe room at the HRH a couple of weeks backa nd was told they didnt have deluxe rooms on the club level. We didnt want a standard room so we booked the deluxe. I wish they did have deluxe on club level or if there really are some maybe we will get lucky at check in, however I doubt Im will to pay rack when I can get 50% with ent rate.

Well, they absolutely had deluxes on club level and the lady I talked to was quite ready to book one over the phone with me. Of course, I had alreadly booked with hotel kingdom, but for whatever the price they want to charge you, you can have a deluxe, kid suites, club suite, ect.

Thanks for the info. Maybe I'll call back and get another rep and see what their story is, lol. It's to bad you can get all the same info from each one.

I know, if it is any help, I think I called the Lowe's reservation number - toll free. It seems you are likely to get a different answer each time - however, it may be true that they won't reserve the deluxe rooms any kind of a discount. I would not even mention it until the very end.
