Delta Boarding Question

Hi everyone,
It's been a while since I've flown Delta, so I wanted to check. Do they board the coach section from the back or from the front?

Also, do they still allow first boarding to families with small children following first-class and passengers with disabilities?

Delta boards in 6 zones.

1. Top Elite, first class passengers, and first row of coach
2. Elite Delta/Northwest frequent flyers
3. Elite members of partner airlines
4. Rear
5. Middle
6. Front

Please stay seated until your zone is called. There is noting worse than being in Zone 1 or 2 and having to fight through a crowd of Zone 5 and 6 people just to get to the gate.

I love these people...especially the ones who get tired of standing and then sit on the floor.

Since you have assigned seats on Delta, you don't need early family boarding.

But if the gate agent for some reason or by using his imagination thinks you do, then he will invite families with small children to board sooner.
